Why aren’t we bombing Iran yet? Because Tony Blair is evil and doesn’t care that they’ve kidnapped our sailors.
2 April, 2007 at 5:07 pm #266747Why was the female sailor wearing a headscarf…………..where is her religious freedom?
2 April, 2007 at 7:20 pm #266748If they go ahead and try them for espionage, then i cannot see Blair sitting back and doing nothing. There is probably several plans already on the table and ready to go.
Though they have to try and go through the peaceful routes first, after all, Britain can ill afford to go into another war. We just havent got the man power in the British army anymore.

You asked the question and you answered it ^^ Not much more we can really say is there?!
2 April, 2007 at 9:11 pm #266750Nobody in Britain cares about those sailors being kidnapped except me. That’s a fact. As I’m the only true Britisher left.
2 April, 2007 at 9:26 pm #266751Why wasn’t the headscarf mentioned in the media?

I beg to disagree with you there, i feel for their families and friends, because some of us have already lost mates out there in the middle east.
So as far as being the only Britisher, i think not, and i don’t think it has anything to do with nationality either. I bet there are alot of people out there who are not British, hoping they get to return home safe and sound.

 – “anymore”
We could no more attack/invade Iran than we could attack/invade Iraq on our own. We are a 4th rate power when it comes to armed forces and our government knows it- we do not have the capability to do anything other than bluster and posture n if Iran decided that these personel were not going to be released, there’s not a jack sh/it we can do about it.
The only plans on the table will be “how can we ensure this least affects our political ability to win seats at the next election”- there will be NO plans to send in anyone to somehow spirit them away or to invade etc etc.
No one in any government goes to war for the sake of a few members of the armed forces who were in the wrong place at the wrong time (wherever that wrong place may have or have not been).
