In a way it’s a pity that we don’t have capital punishment for this sort of crime any more. however, if we DID hang them, itt would only give the bleeding heart liberals something else to protest about.

On the other hand PB, i’d personally be happy to see my tax being spent on making them all do hard labour for the rest of their lives. No comfy cell, no special menu’s, tv’s, computers, play stations,,,,,,,just hard labour. A cell to sleep in, meals that if they chose not to eat they could f uckin go without! But then like you say, the ”bleeding heart liberals” would have a field day

Yep too right Carol. What they need is a nice thin lumpy matress to sleep on, a scratchy blanket, one lumpy pillow, a bowl of lumpy thick porridge for breakfast, thin watery mince and equally watery mash potato for lunch, then a stale paste sandwich and a glass of water for tea. They should be made to slop out every day too. No telly, access to books, pc,s gyms, or anything like that. Make em work 18 hours a day. Bastards.

As always the problem with doing all of the above lies with the bleeding hearts club coupled with the Human Rights Act who will vigorously oppose ANY attempt at making life less cushy for offenders.

I recall that way back, the cells in the police station I was based at contained simply a raised concrete platform for a bed – no mattress, no covering – nothing at all. It made spending a night in custody a somewhat uncomfortable exoerience and one that the local yobbery were keen to avoid.

Then along came a team of custody visitors who reckoned that this was ”unfair” because the cell’s occupants were ”innocent” (not having been convicted) and the Met had to supply matresses and blankets for the prisoners detained in custody.

Mind you, the stroppy ones still had their nice comfortable matresses & blankets removed from their cells …… for their own safety of course you understand.

Why worry about whats in the cell at all……… Put them in a bare room with a group of mothers who have lost their children through no fault of their own be it illness, accidents or just women who want but are unable to have kids …..

And make sure the wardens outside the door are called away unexpectedly
