Right, it,s nearly Christmas folks, and I,d decided what I was getting my two youngest. There were going to have a ps2 between them. That I thought, will stop any arguments about who owns what etc. But then, the sodding manufactuers brought out a pink ps2!! So now of course, my daughter, who loves pink, wants it. So NOW what do I do? If I get the one between them I know she,ll be really disappointed, because she wants the pink one, and I,ll feel as guilty as hell.If I do get her that, what do I then get my 8 year old son? FFS. Why do these people have to complicate things for me!! I,d made up my mind now I dont know what the hell to do. Hes got a gameboy advance btw, he got that for his birthday. HELP!! Bloody manufacturers!!

Of course you could jus tell them they are lucky to be getting anything and to stop being so ungrateful
OR
Bat- why don’t you get them a neutral colour (silver or blue) – you could always get a pink controller for yer girlie n a black controller for yer boy

For goodness sake, buy a Playstation two and tell them to get on with it.
Good lord. Ps3 is coming out soon and they will be scweeamminnnggg for that wont they.
Tell them to like it or lump it whatever you buy and if they get upset you will either
a) Thrown the damn thing in the bin
b) give it to Oxfam so they can send it to Botswana
c)paint it green with purple and red spots and hope the paint doesnt seep onto the precious wires.Alternatively buy them bikes/rollerskates and tell them to get off their lard ar*es and try for an ASBO.

I was just guessing that the pink one would be more expensive, hence my suggestion to get a black one and paint half of it pink.
Although I admit I did not factor in the price of pink paint versus black paint which may have some influence over the final costings of this solution.
Bat … don’t get them anything at all – it’s much cheaper that way.
If you really HAVE to get them a present, how about their own personal library ticket? Or even a box of crayons so that they can design their own Christmas cards for next year?
PS: My little girl may be getting an electric train set – so that I can pinch it from her and play with it ‘cos i didn’t have one myself as a child.
our broad of 3 girls have already went on aboot writting their christmas present list… to which i responsed since when did they start writting xmas present lists..!! i suggested that instead of big fancy gifts this year we could as a family sponser a child… to which i got back in swcreamssssssss NOOOOOOOOO… and then the tears they 1 piped up id rather we sponser a dog..!!! children eh… so they have been told … u have to wait and see what Santa surprises you with… as remember its not what you get but the thought behind it..!! to which ive got 3 whingings girls till xmas now… lol what happened to 50p an apple an orange and if ur lucky a stick of candy..!!
