I didn’t come out with anything like that because Gerry (unlike Sophia) never said that we were getting away from the main point of the thread, and should be talking about grooming. If he had, I would have gently pointed out that he was on a tangent, but like Sophia he has every right to say what he likes.
I liked what he was saying, and was interested in the argument once Sophia made her point. If she could have been bothered to substantiate her point, then I would expect an answer from him.
But she can’t be bothered, so I wouldn’t blame him if he wasn’t bothered to answer her.
I should add, Somer, that while I liked Gerry’s arguments, I did not like and do not endorse his personal attacks on you, which characteristically get in the way of any argument.. I find them distasteful, but I felt that was between the two of you. In this thread, his arguments were particularly well-made, and the abuse against you didn’t drown them. I still find the abuse distasteful.
Scep, what’s done is done. You harp on to a tedious and excessive extent that i can’t be bothered reading your long drawn out arguments of which you feel is a one man crusade of you’re right i’m wrong attitude . If anyone feels that passionate about this woman and her baby they should write to whoever they feel was to blame? Arguements, discussions on chatroom boards really arent the place and being honest doesnt really help the cause. Im done with this subject now.
Your argument is also long and drawn-out, and hardly exciting, but I read it.
Arguments and discussions on chatroom boards, especially in the Getting Serious section, are precisely the place to pursue a point, and if you won’t read any argument against you then you devalue your own contribution enormously.
I was wondering if your sources were lies from a Britain First type outfit, and you get out of it with the cheapest possible dismissal of a serious argument – that you can’t be bothered to read it. You could well be peddling lies, and you don’t care because this is a chatroom board?!
You’re not interested in this topic as a serious discussion, just as a platform for peddling rumour to take attention away from a baby who was basically murdered? pffft

Just for you, thicko, I brought up the Northern Mill towns to demonstrate how ignorant men like you (and women) blame children for the grooming and sexual abuse they recieve at the hands of depraved men and in this instance Shamina was undoubtedly sexual abused and groomed. I quoted the law to demonstate it is NOT my personal opinion, it is FACT and backed up by EVIDENCE.

No personal attack on Sophia at all, if you read it carefully. I don’t accuse her of Islamophobia. I merely asked her to say what her sources were, so that I know that we’re not reading the lies peddled by Britain First. Her information sounded very dodgy to me.
But I do understand why you your posts descend into this sort of abuse. It does cover up some extremely dodgy arguments, though, doesn’t it?

What a twat!!!! Where did i say i blame children for being groomed?What i said to scep was he didnt say your going off topic when you brought “n t m” into this.And the other thing i said was wheres the proof these 3 girls were groomed and to catch the same flight as well? He goes overboard on personal abuse and attempts to embarrass, Somer, to cover up his poor skills in argument.
Sophia made a serious point that the girls hadn’t been groomed, with evidence to back it up. I called this evidence into question – as it seemed a bit odd to me, but Sophia backed out of answering my point.
Her point was mainly raised at Gerry, who had for once been making good arguments about grooming. He needed to respond, but instead presents himself as not answering because Sophia wasn’t Islamophobic – ha, everybody knows that Sophia is deeply opposed to discrimination. It’s a way out of a serious argument.
Inebriated by his own brilliance, he seeks to destroy every argument with personal ridicule and abuse, whether it’s his absurd points about my age or rudeboy’s small hands(!?), or dredging up little bits of personal information he’s picked up and overloading them with weird accusations about the person being a wife beater, all larded up with a heavily over-used nasty imagery.
He’s not interested in serious argument, just in destroying argument and any ssrious discussion.
Answer the point, Walter Mitty, and seriously, if it’s at all possible for you to answer a point about a serious issue!
