Pineapple Head at Forest as he was christined by Baddiel and Skinner, and went on to blame them for the dip in his career for the nickname.
Or was it Sheffield Wednesday?
20 March, 2008 at 10:25 pm #319043Think that was Jason Lee or something at Forest.

20 March, 2008 at 10:29 pm #319045Fry moved to Southend United in 1993 with the club bottom of Division One. Fry kept Southend up, but later in the year moved to Birmingham City. Though Birmingham were relegated in his first season, he won the Division Two championship in 1995 and also reached the finals of the Football League Trophy. During the 1995–96 season, Fry guided the Blues to the semi-finals of the League Cup but was sacked after their mid-season promotion hopes faded and the club finished 15th in Division One.

20 March, 2008 at 10:33 pm #31904620 March, 2008 at 10:34 pm #319047I remember as a nipper watching on MotD or the ITV Sunday one an Arsenal v Birmingham game (70’s). In the days when you needed to decapitate someone in order to get a booking, Trevor Francis clapped the ref for giving him a free kick and duly got booked. It made quite a fuss that weekend.
