Mobile that allows bosses to snoop on staff developed
    By Michael Fitzpatrick, Tokyo

Researchers have produced a mobile phone that could be a boon for prying bosses wanting to keep tabs on the movements of their staff.

Japanese phone giant KDDI Corporation has developed technology that tracks even the tiniest movement of the user and beams the information back to HQ.

It works by analysing the movement of accelerometers, found in many handsets.

Activities such as walking, climbing stairs or even cleaning can be identified, the researchers say.

What an excellent idea. No more skiving off pretending to work (and getting paid to do so) when in fact employees are just hanging around the coffee machine gossiping etc.

All bosses have to do is access their staff facebook accounts to know where they are, or what they’re doing.. STATUS.. Steve is having a coffee.. STATUS.. Steve sneezed.. Lots of work places monitor staff anyway, cameras everywhere, tracking devices in vehicles. Bet they’re all invented by women..

now how long will it be before men realise all they have to do is leave the phone at there desk and then go to the coffee machine for a natter ?

Not everyone has facebook (like me  ) but I know alot of companies have hidden cameras….my sister’s shop for instance had camera’s installed during the night (so staff didn’t know about it obviously lol) and all her staff are monitored on facebook.
Now we have cctv in the shop and by law we have to have a sign visible to the public stating recording takes place on these premises. So to be honest not sure how it could be fair or even legal that staff are recorded without their knowlege.

I’ll bet that once the staff found out about the ‘hidden’ CCTV cameras, the incidence of staff theft fell like the proberbial rocket.

I’ve managed seventy people, and I have monitored them all via cameras, etc.. I have done this for my own perverted pleasure, and therefore will continue to do so.
