Look i dont know what friends and family you have but how do you think they would feel if you do find it to be Cancer when its too late to do anything about just because you feel too scared to go for a smear? i know its horrible but its there to save lives, as i said it could be one of hundreds of things honestly and the statistics are that it probably is something and nothing but either way take a deep breath and just do it, and tell them it was your first last time and it hurt last time and how nervous you are it should help them to help relax you and say you don’t want no trainee this time, i cant say enough how the fear vulnerability and humiliation will feel like nothing if you have to face something worse in a year maybe 2 or 3 years time if it was something worse, it may just be something as daft as thrush seriously.

thats very true,, it could have been a cell of common or garden THRUSH thats been picked up,, and thats airborne ! but you need to get the secondary test ! as poli says take a pal ! i live in a city with a massive teaching hosp, so its part and parcel of having med students in. but ya have the right to say you dont want them. your gp should understand your vulnerability. i dont know your age. if your under 25 you have more facilities to go to. but as women were all entitled to privacy and a feeling of non fear.so im thinking more a well woman clinic for you.

im no faird o the jc polis mary :) but i disagree boot darnell, he is a right sensitive fooker that says what he thinks. though mikey is GREAT too ! any o the two o them winning would do me, truth be told. Mikey for his rants,and the way he senses more things than a ” normal” person ever will.. and Darnell for his sensitivity, and not agreeing for the sake of things, to be popular !
