    hi folks i have been having similar problems as sunny with belkin except the connection connects ok but seems like somone maybe using my connection
    anyway after tryinga few things i managed too get in touch with belkin and they put me onto the page for my specific router anyway i followed there instructions as too get a better signal but too know avail then i went into the endryption the belkin router created a code and i wrote it down
    then i went too connect too belkin it asked for password and it accepted it and am now connected too belkin router
    but one problem the computer cannot find web ******* what ever that is any way the bllody thing is clocked or im locked out i dunno but i cannot get on to web thru belkin router any more the git lol

    Hi Rob,

    Seems you got in a bit of a pickle, I would suggest digging out your instructions to find the reset button and restore the router to its factory settings, this will clear all passwords and restore the routers settings.

    Then, follow all the original install jnstructions for the router (as PB has previously mentioned for others).

    Nice thing about routers etc you can always restore them no matter what you did.

    One your set up, its just a matter of setting WPA encryption as I adviced before

    Hi rob,

    I`m presuming you`re connecting `wireless` through your router? :?

    If so, connect directly via an ethernet cable from your computer to the router instead of using wireless, type your router address into your browser as before. You can set your router back to the original factory settings and hopefully start again.
