As our thoughts turn to christmas and the new year i always tend to reflect on the past year and how i could of made things better.Maybe we are expecting too much from life, the perfect body, healthy lifestyle, great job, lots of money and wonderful friends and family.
New year resolutions seem to fail for most people as generally they are last minute thoughts and unrealistic goals.I think the secret is to break them down and focus on a few things which are important to yourself.
I smoke yes, too much yes, but how much do i want to stop? i must confess that at the moment i have to much stress and worry to give up, and i enjoy the damn things.So i would be unrealistic in thinking i could give up, besides if i tried and failed it would put me off trying again.
If your planning on dieting set realistic goals of a couple of pounds a month, and tell all your family and close friends as you will be more determined to achieve your goals if others are supporting you.
I have three personal goals i wish to achieve next year and i believe they are all achievable.
