I was so surprised to wake up to the news that Tripoli is slipping from the grasp of Gaddafi, and it seems he is no longer in control.
I wonder what will happen to the man himself? Will he or should he stand trial? or will he just disappear into the ether. I just watched an interview that suggested he may operate sleeping cells to disrupt any new regime from somewhere like Algeria or another safe haven. Whatever happens it is history in the making and it will be interesting to see how events unfold.
Anyway there are jubilant scenes from Tripoli today… good luck to the Libyan people!
Happy, but dangerous times ahead for the Libyan people.
Just hope that the West keeps out of the area as much as possible.
