i dont get the need to hitch a very expensive place to sleep and trail it round the country

dont do a geoff quote
the cost for a decent caravan is at least 10k
the fuel to get there and the toll on your car
then the parking fee

Most drivers can’t drive properly, but stick that tin can on their arse and they all become women drivers.

21 March, 2008 at 4:44 pm #318974Well one day we are going to have a Campervan, but its gonna be one of those big fuckoff ones with everything. 8)
We have had loads of caravan holidays in the big static ones and they do make great holidays. I have a friend who tows her own. It cost 18 grand and the hassle they have hooking it up, storing it when not in use, paying extra money to fuel the 4×4 that is needed to tow it etc, it all adds up and for two holidays a year I reckon they are wasting a lot of money.

Winnebago 8) Just love the word! Caravaning doesn’t have to be that expensive, no way will I be paying 18 grand for a caravan, a nice cheap second hand one with an awning, I only want to sleep in it.

21 March, 2008 at 5:06 pm #318978But you would be anyway. The campervan is on the ground, you’re in the campervan which is on the ground so all roads lead to Rome.
