I was out for a walk on the beautiful West Wiltshire Downs this afternoon. I heard some rusting in the scrub and then two badgers appeared. I don’t know what they’d been up to but they ran off, chasing each other and making growling noises!

Unusual to see badgers in broad daylight on a scorching hot day, I’d have thought.

hey bas, here in milton keynes along with the concrete cows lol……..the developers an planners built in a ‘wildlife corridor’ and at any given time you can see anything from badgers to baby deer……… in fact last november in the wee small hours a fox an all her baby cubs just strolled down our street lol right there in the middle of the road….. not seen a badger yet tho…. :)

Most of the badgers we see round here are roadkill, or possibly “roadkill” thrown out of vehicles by illegal badger baters to launder the evidence.

Badgers themselves are not very nice animals – vicious biters. Some people have tamed them as pets though.
