I shudder at threads like this one.

Why Mims? Are you one these bleeding heart do gooders who cares more about the evil scum bag criminal, than the innocent victim? This is a comment from one of the readers on the Mail on Line.

The very people congratulating and applauding this attack disgust me. Irrespective of why this man was in Prison, he has a basic human right to life, without living in fear and intimidation. He certainly does not deserve to be treated like this. I hope that his attacker is brought to justice immediately.

Baby Peter also had a basic human right to life without living in fear and intimidation. He didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was either. He deserved to be loved and cherished the way all children should be. Instead he was abused and tortured.

    Barker deserves everything he gets.

I will never subscribe to the hang em high.. gloating, mob mentality.

People who rub their hands with glee because of someone’s misfortune make me shudder. What this man did to a small child makes my heart ache. The man who threw the boiling water at him ….that was his choice. But forgive me if I don’t join in to gloat about it.

i was crawling bumper to bumper in town other day , i waved a man across who was standing at the kerb , i recognised him he was a local sex offender just realised from raping his own kids , my foot hit the accelerater as he crossed , he legged it and got over , id of done it , and said he just stepped out , and every witness there would of backed me

can ppl stop calling the baby baby P now , the child had a name, the only time that child was at peace was when he was asleep , imagine the torment he felt on waking up every day, should of been fkin acid that was threw over him and burned his eyes out

Whose gloating, i’m disappointed it wasn’t worse. He put himself in this position and lost any rights when he killed Peter, so he screamed, did he scream as loudly as Peter Connelly ?

Pete.. we all know what happened to that beautiful child. There are threads in this area where we have discussed what can be done about the sentencing which is inadequate and often does not match the seriousness of these crimes against small children.

I am not condoning what he did. I am not condoning what the water thrower did either. I abhor violence of any kind.

People are entitled to post what they want….. but my feeling about threads like this, started so that people can spit venom at a screen are that they just show the worst side of human nature. People commit terrible crimes, and we all feel the same way about them because we are caring compassionate human beings. But ….lynching mobs, baying for blood? that is another side of human nature I just do not like

I’m not criticising how you feel mims thats fine, and i’m not condoning lynch mobs, just one person to give he what he deserves. This man wasn’t out of his head it was cold and without remorse and without pity, I dont feel remotely wrong for having the same attitude toward him and his kind

Well i feel no sympathy for him at all, and the good thing about this is, where prison would most likely fail at reforming him, when he is released maybe the fear of what will happen if he goes back in may make him stop and think twice next time, though im not gloating, hopefully this will serve as a stark reminder to him in future.

He is a bully, it is more likely to make him more determined to hurt and mutilate anything that cannot fight back thats gets in his way.
