the bbc have been forced to climb down and give the b.n.p equal airtime for their ppb because the british public and the opinion poles have demanded it. they dont want to do it. but theyve got no choice. i think the ppb is on april 21st but im not certain as ive been ill for a few days and havent been online much. ill google it later. [unless any of you lot kn enlighten me. here in west yorks, the bnp are doing realy well in the opinion poles. even i,m shocked to hear how well theyre doing. what thinks you mob ??

16 April, 2008 at 7:54 pm #326192When, with turnout frequently falling below 30% in local elections, will the Great British public finally understand that (in the continued absence of a “None of the Above” vote) the only way to register your political protest is to ‘spoil’ your ballot paper?
As far as I can see, the only way to radically change the way politics works in our country involves:
1. Actually ‘turning out’ to vote.
2. Writing ‘Spoiled Ballot’ across your ballot paper.
3. Posting your ‘protest’ vote in the ballot box.At least this way, the politicians will finally understand that the electorate actually cares.
Our continued failure to ‘turn out’ only means that we end up ‘electing’ the candidates we deserve.
16 April, 2008 at 9:05 pm #326193Wasp hunny- its nothing to do with opinion polls or the public, its to do with the law- the BNP cannot legally be denied a ppb of they field a certain number of candidates-they reached whatever figure it is and legally the beeb cannot stop them
Climbdown it may be but it’s feck all to do with joe bloggs in the street n more to do with bnp lawyers
