Your forces do not have the power to protect a man like him, too much would happen on a visit

Linda, I can categorically assure you Mr Trump would be very safe and well protected by Special Branch whilst in the UK, just like Obama was, and every other USA President, every other world head of state or monarch. We have never had any security issues whilst an American president is on a state visit, and there’s no reason why that should happen now, infact, on the contrary, he would be even extra well protected. 😎

The Donald has apparently said he’s not interested in coming to Britain, right now.

So Elvis is left waving his Stars and Stripes on his own.

Keep at it, lad. We all love ya.

    Linda,

there are a lot of problems in the US, and you’re right to look at the Donald and feel you see a man wronged.

He takes a very personal attitude to America’s problems, in the sense that he’s saying I can handle this.

You seem to know something of him, and you’ve said before that you sense that he feels the pain of being so disliked behind his tough exterior.

I’m sure that is the case. He says that all his life has beena fight, and I’m sure that’s beent eh case as well.

Though he was born with a big silver spoon in his mouth, he talks and acts like a blue-collar New Yorker. I’m told he bases his gestures and speech=patterns on a New York Yellow cab driver.

I’m not talking about his personality as much as his policies.

I don’t see protectionism at any level as doing anything but harm, and running the risk of trade wars in the world.

I don’t see his policy of making Iran the big enemy, and backing Saudi Arabia in the war between Moslems raging in that region, as doing anything but make things much worse, much more dangerous.

I don’t see his economic policy of big tax cuts and big spending cuts as being anything but disastrous and cruel.

And I don’t see him as being successful.

He thinks he can get things done, but he’s not getting them done.

he won’t be that welcome anyway. I think it’s fair to say he is possibly the most disliked President ever of the USA.

Speak for yourself please, not 65 million Brits, and not for me, and certainly not for 350 million Americans. I disagree, many Brits will gladly welcome Mr Trump to our shores, and he will get our very best Special Branch security team. It will be an honour and privilege for me and many other Brits to host this very special man. WELCOME TO GREAT BRITAIN MR TRUMP !!! (waves the star spangled banner) God Bless America !

Haven’t you got any chips to dish up Elvis?

Sarcasm isn’t your strong point is it lol

As if I would dare speak for you … perish the thought.  :-)

    I cannot stand.

Oh Elvis, you are right however, “arcen” is so on target with hate stemming from here and around the World. Obama, Clinton, Bushes, Regan, no President has ever had this degree of “Hate” attached to their name.

I do know his safety would be guarded even perhaps more priority seen before, but truth I do know him before elected President.

It is my belief he does not presently want to cause extra grief or be the cause of more riots and protestors involvements who would disrupt a visit. He better knows the crowds as he had them here. He also had security protection before his new status of President. This is my opinion. He will make a visit, not sure when though.

Working with his teams in development enterprises boy did I have clashes with them and my community. Been in a room few times before with him where appearance has quiet a room and he was given the most deal of respect from his knowledge and ability to some times compromise in which both sides came out positive… both sides winning. Make sense? His brilliant development and business enterprises and money far pass any other President I previously named. None. That was why the man was voted in, again my opinion.

Thank you and others for welcoming him when the time comes. I know you will keep him safe. He is a very high profile target I understand right now from tasks forces. Certain places.

Looking at him too right now from last year in 6 months he has aged 10 years. Sad. The man does work hard….this I know..

Sadly I agree to many thoughts being expressed here. Some so right on target.
Personality, tuff son of a b..tch! Behind closed doors he has compassion and passion which media never shows to the public they do not want you to be aware. Target negative rather than some good. In 6 months still not seen a kind word mentioned ever. Or missed them. (Scep.guy you are too good reminding me when I miss out. Hee hee, I am sure we will engage on more)

Siver spoon yes. Also though bankruptcy and financial hardships at times, how has the man come back every time…? Silver spoon has dried up some times been tarnished. Hee.

Politics- to many years prior dysfunction. I do not think any ruler any where has cleaned up messes totally. And (scep.guy as on target again) bottom line not always all are pleased. He has Congress/Senate up his butt too. Remember he alone can not make decisions. Not working with him either nicely. No one giving him the time or chance. I am not sure yet if his final decisions for us work out here, I can only hope. And forgive my improper thought, “he has a great set of balls no fear.” I like that sorry.

As always scep., thank you for your thorough thought processes. I welcome them.

    Linda, you’re welcome.

Thanks for reminding us that Trump may have a human side. That he is a hard worker, and can be a good deal-maker in business, I’m sure you’re right.

I don’t know him well enough to know whether he’s got a great pair of balls, and hopefully I won’t ever find out.

he fits an American stereotype whihc doesn’t go down well in this country – the loudmouth. You can see what is behind the loudmouth, but we Brits aren’t too good at seeing that.

he’s in politics, Linda, and politics is very very rough. he knew that when he went into it.

His success at being elected is a sign of how tough he is, but he’s operating in a balanced constitution, whihc was set up back in 1787 to stop one person from doing too many things without being checked and held to account. I don’t think that sits too well with a man who#s used to running free-range over his rivals in business.

But he’s not in business now. He’s in politics, and in US politics, where a lot of bagains and deals have to be struck in a way whihc doesn’t sit well with him. he’s not really a Republican, or a Democrat. He’s Trump, and they’ll destroy him.

And his foreign policy is simplistic and dangerous. he sees a problem, he thinks he can solve it, he makes it worse. That is a rule of foreign policy when you break with the past, unless you’re very lucky (like FDR).

    Something doesn’t add up here…
