Ive managed Strawberrys Lemons and planted a cherry tree which should fruit next year :D
If anyone is really interested in growing theyre own Food both these sites are very handy :wink: :D
oooooooooooo forgot.we have fruit trees as well ! :lol:
just grew flowers n shrubs in the front garden an the back garden is all lawned
did try n grow a pumpkin for crianne, but the thing didnt grow, tried sun flowers too but they didnt grow, an i always manage to grow massive ones of them but not this yr :(Well i was growing tomatoes at the bottom of my postage samp garden and I was doing really well.
That was until my father decided to cut my lawn without me knowing and mowed them all down. :(
I trimmed down an Alavera plant today :D
carrots………..cabbage………salad leaves………….broccoli……………….asparagus……….courgettes………….ssquash……………ate them all this year………….bought them all from sainsburys 8)
I cultivated a cracking crop of spuds.
(shame they were in my ears :P )
A good crop of discovery apples, the tree just getting into the right fruiting time. Some cherries, the passion fruit didnt do so well. The redcurrant was pretty good this year.
Few herbs too they went well. Trying to introduce some more next year, chillies, I have an indoor orange bush. Not fruited but doing well.
I heard blueberries good to grow, i just look out and if i see owt i like i try.
