Mention Christmas, and have you noticed that all the females start drivelling on about shopping etc etc !!!.
The male users, being far more intellectual, realise that it is still only November and that they have lots of better things to do with their time.
Christmas is just another excuse for females to spend money on useless frippery that nobody really wants or needs.
(Bah humbug !!!)
8) its that sort of attitude the gets the men in my house a smack in the mouth.

Oh shurrup grumpy!!!
Men are too lazy to shop (unless its the 24 hour garage on Xmas eve lol)and like the fact that us women take over. And if I waited for my bloke to cook the turkey we’d end up waiting till flipping February
20 November, 2005 at 10:15 pm #171050I voted ‘I’m not that bothered’ but I’ll probably treat myself to a old bottle of
port and some nice cheese. And send out a few ‘Greetings’ cards too :wink:20 November, 2005 at 11:52 pm #171051@squeezy wrote:

Me Grumpy ???? Hmmmm. Look just because us men don’t make a second carreer of doing the shopping, doesn’t mean that we are deficient in the buying presents stakes.
It’s just that we are a hell of a lot more efficient than you female shopaholics. Whizzing round on Christmas Eve is a thoroughly good and efficient use of the time – and you can pick up some pretty cheap bargains too.
As for cooking Turkeys…… show me a woman that can boil an egg properly and I’ll show you a miracle. Anyway roast Duck or even a juicy rib of beef is way better than a Bernard Matthews cast off.
21 November, 2005 at 10:10 am #171052By my reckoning that’s about 16-20 pints of ale, and strong ale at that.
I can understand that Tommy, but frankly what I can’t forgive you for is the ”QUORN bacon rasher sandwich”.
I always thought you were a decent, God fearing, meat eating, Englishman – not some bloody left wing, tree hugging, do gooder, brown rice eating vegetarian / vegan who doesn’t even have the strength to wash themselves properly !!!!
You should be ashamed of yourself !!!
