How much snow did everyone get last night and this morning? I managed to get to work this morning, on time, the papers were here on time which I was surprised about…where I live we have loads of snow and driving was quite dangerous. Where I work it was not as bad, but have a feeling I am going to have trouble getting home :?

6-8 inches of snow here, most of the schools closed, roads closed, abandoned vehicles on some of the more hilly roads and so on…I’m only a couple of miles away from work so took the chance on driving in, once I got onto the main roads it was ok. More snow predicted for this afternoon though so I might be walking home…there’s several pubs on the way though so lots of chances for rest stops :lol:
There are more cars on the road now than earlier, but most of the people around town seem to be people making their way to work and schoolkids having snowball fights, not sure there’s going to be many shoppers today!
What’s nice is that it’s real snow, not that pretend slushy stuff…I looked at the snow pictures on the bbc website and thought pffffft call that snow? :lol:

We didn’t get any snow in my corner of the world thank god.
I’ve got a weekend of Christmas visits to rellis & friends. When I return on Tuesday it can snow til it’s hearts content. :wink: :lol:
