I signed off my posts with Julie or Julia… not really different names…. I did not ask about a personal relationship with anyone not in the way you are suggesting which I have to say is so low!
You insisted on knowing things about a person in chat that I was not happy to tell you I tried to divert your attention from the whole thing, I asked repeatedly for you to forget it and for us not to be silly about such a little thing. You repeatedly insisted on information then you suggested I was not who I said I was…..because I signed Julie and Julia….next thing I have Ruby calling me names too…telling me I’m a fake just as you did…
gosh I promised myself I would never do this Jen.. I would not in real life so why am I doing it here…. I prefer not to continue,,, and as I said to you repeatedly when I was trying to placate you in PM can we just let this drop now?

To me, Julia and Julie are different names but there you go.
I said that James was a friend, you replied by asking what I meant, did I mean a friend in real life, had I actually met him. That is asking questions about a personal relationship isn’t it?

You repeatedly said you had your reasons for asking, naturally I was inquisitive as to what those reasons were. As I have said, yes, I asked 3 times. I was not insisting on knowing things about a person in chat, I was asking your reasons for asking the questions that you were asking.

At no point have I called you a fake, I simply pointed out that you were using different names to sign your pm’s; to me Julie and Julia are different names. It seemed particularly odd to me as I have had 3 friends named Julia who would always correct people if they were called Julie, in fact 2 of them would positively bristle and refuse to answer.
I’m sure that Ruby has her reasons for calling you a fake but they are not connected to our pms which I repeat again I have kept confidential and not disclosed to anyone.

Mrs T, when you stop throwing my integrity into question, I will be more than happy to let this drop. This situation was not of my making but as you will have gathered by now my integrity is important to me and I will defend it.
We both know what happened Jen… and you twist things for your own argument.. oh well so be it.
As for your so called friends who dislike being called Julie… you twisted the example I gave to you in PM… remember I said…
I have friends called your name they get Jen and Jenny it was my example to you Jen… funny you should suddenly find friends with my name… very convenient isn’t it.
You are not nice… we both know that, others dont but so what, just a chat site who cares.
BTW the way you word it is not at all representative of the way it was , but as I say… who cares
Oh for heavens sake – I’ve paraphrased the pms, I have presented it as it happened, I have not twisted anything, I have simply defended your attacks on my integrity.
You know, it’s funny how you thought I was OK until I asked your reasons for the questions you were asking and pointed out that you were alternating between 2 names. You even posted on another site that I was usually OK. Suddenly I’m not nice, I twist words, I use people and I have no feelings for the people I’m discrediting.
Once again:
1. I have not disclosed our conversations with anyone, either in the public domain or in pm, until you brought it up in this thread.
2. As I understand it, and as Kenty has tried to tell you several times, her comment was not in any way linked to our conversations.
3. I have not shared our conversations with Ruby; the fact that she called you a fake is in no way related to our conversations – how could it be? She didn’t know about them.
4. I am not responsible for all of this being brought into the public domain; at no point have I brought it up either on these boards or in pm with other users. I am simply responding to what has been posted here.
5. I have no desire to discredit anyone, but I will not sit back and let someone rubbish my reputation just because they are reading other peoples’ posts and linking them with me, taking 2 and 2 and making 22. I think if anyone here should be complaining about being discredited it should be me – I have not made any personal attacks on you, whereas I am being subjected to personal attacks on my character.
Other than copying and pasting the whole pm conversation, which I will not do, there is nothing else I can say. You can attack my integrity and try to demonise me but hopefully most people here know me better than that.

Putting my neck on the block here .. as i’m sure i will be told to ‘butt out’ but hey ho ..here goes.
Mrs T , have just read your post on the getting serious thread, and i want to say this.
On these boards, sometimes things can get taken out of context , as i know to my cost when i first posted something on the getting serious thread.
However….. we all here , at some point, have a gripe about another poster, doing the ‘ she said this, I said that’ bit… you have made it cear that you don’t like Jen Jen. But can i just say , and please don’t take this the wrong way, as i realise as well , that sometimes even Jen Jen isn’t perfect… But Back last year i confided in Jen about something important in my life that was happening at the time and worrying me. i have to say, I don’t confide easily to just anyone in Jc – but i had no doubt in my mind , that anything i said to jen would remain with her, and her alone.
You have had a hiccup here , that’s all , dont take it to heart so… really , it isn’t worth it. I like reading your posts , and new threads .. lets keep it going.
And Jen, Thankyou, i have not forgotten, and never will.

That’s very nice Annette, I’m pleased for you, however this whole thing was because I would not break a confidence either and may I say that if you had told me your secret it would have been safe with me too.
