There is something quite peculiar about a 70-something man looking in through your shop window with a knitted Angry Bird hat with a face to match the hat…

What is it with this obsession with Apple products? Every competition or prize draw these days offers an Ipad or Iphone as the top prize. Enough already! :twisted:
The water meter has just had its annual read, which means that in the next week or two I’ll get a visit from someone from the water board wanting to inspect my premises because my “water usage is lower than anticipated for the property”…it’s a charade we go through every year as we try to work out why they think one shop with a toilet and sink is really a 4-bedroom family home and why they won’t listen when we tell them it isn’t. Last year they even changed the meter because it’s “faulty and under-recording the water usage.”
This year I have the mince pies ready for the inspector, he can choose between tea, coffee or a mulled cider…it’s the same chap every year…I might even give him a Christmas card. :D
