Ok….lets have a thread where we can randomly type about anything we like, any subject.
It’s all getting way too serious here and some of it is very borderline illegal/immoral.Thought I would mention is my baby’s (eldest) birthday today  He’s 27. Hope he likes his pressies
9 November, 2010 at 10:05 am #452416Happy birthday Kenty’s biggest baby!
We’ve had so much rain, with flood warnings and another 3 inches of rain predicted today and the next town along the road being gridlocked cos of flood water, that I’m thinking of building an ark, anyone want to join me?

Bimey Jen! We’ve had some rain but nothing to cause problems.
9 November, 2010 at 10:18 am #452418Well being Welsh I already have webbed feet you understand, but some of these poor English blighters are starting to look worried!
It poured with rain all day yesterday, it poured most of the night, and it is still pouring. I had to walk through rivers of water in the car park as the water made for the nearest drains but the only reason you could tell where the drains were was because of the paddling pools where there never used to be any! On the local radio there was a list of roads that are closed either because of flooding (the majority) or car accidents.
Of course, all the autumn leaves blocking the drains don’t help…
9 November, 2010 at 10:21 am #452419Geeeeeeez – I’m with that.
Started hanging around here for a bit less of that stuff. Just been treated to an exceptional collection of insults (not at me) about dogs’ reprductive organs, rear ends and woman dog-mating in chat. Funny for a bit but gets thin after half an hour. And then it gets worse when some joker thinks I am a woman and starts pming me with his dimensions! Now have _m at the end of my name.
Good stuff then. Step daughter’s birthday Thursday and my dog can walk again (poor animal just managed to run with her strapped leg). Add to that the fact that I am going out to buy some new shoes and my cold water is running again, and it’s a good day. Lacing shoes for work by the way. Don’t generally get excited about shoes.
Oh and still not smoking despite great tempatation.
Hope your boy likes his presents and that you are getting to spend some time with him today, Kent.
:)
