the ICC don’t seem to happy about this shot, stating it gives an unfair advantage to the batsman, which i think is a bit harsh, Ronnie O’Sullivan gains an advantage from playing left handed as its a skill, same as this Cricket Shot, I very much doubt average batsman could pull it off
If he’s good enough to hit a couple of sixes like that, then good luck to him, no’one would have said anything about it if he’d mishit and went out instead, in fact, if anything, if he’d went out, they would have given him grief over poor shot selection..
the icc have ruled in pietersons favour and too right to!
It’s the most innovative shot I think I have seen in my time watching/playing cricket. As you say sparky, if it doesn’t come off… what an embarrasement! But to replicate it in the same innings was just awesome.
