Who said he was representing England at tennis Emma? :? Certainly not me. I said he was representing Great Britain.
How could he not complain if he received boos at Wimbeldon. Im sure he wouldent care if a bunch of middle class twa.ts booed him anyway. And England’s not in GB :D
Oh right, so now English middle classes are tw.ats, but murray isnt then?
But he couldnt complain without looking stupid. He would look a total idiot, bemused by his own stupidity.
Hes young, and has a lot to learn.
I think he was advised to say “anyone but England”, because that would “promote” his profile. He was ill advised.
If not, he wanted to jump on the scottish anti-English bandwagon and gain support.
Alot of scots do hate the English.
Come on Tim, WUP that dirty foreigner murray.

If Kim Henman didnt win Wimbeldon in his prime, he never will.
Andy Murray is a young man who made a rash comment that’s all.27 June, 2006 at 9:39 pm #228469@Mr Amphibian wrote:
So even tapping a little ball across a ridiculous net is political? It’s not as if it’s a real game that anyone cares about.
Tell that to cliff richard
27 June, 2006 at 9:49 pm #228470heres me thinking Murray is a middle class Scottish tw@
27 June, 2006 at 10:01 pm #228471my mate went to school with him, said he was a tw at… though i not met him myself, i won’t reserve judgement on the lad
for now.. i sm just going to enjoy the football, and come back to the tennis when its over
27 June, 2006 at 10:09 pm #228472Murray might have to wait a few years to have a real chance at Wimbeldon. Im sure he’d be glad to just get past a few rounds this year.
To be fair to Henman he’s been a good player. I think his chance at Wimbeldon has passed now he’s moved into his 30’s.27 June, 2006 at 10:17 pm #228473@Bad Manners wrote:

quite rightly so27 June, 2006 at 10:53 pm #228475There’s a huge difference between Agassi winning tournaments in his 30’s and Henman possibly winning one in his 30’s. Henman was never anywhere near Agassi’s class. Im not having a go at Henman here, as Agassi was one of the finest Tennis players of all time.
PS-Dont write Monty off yet. He almost snatched a Major the other week. He could a contender for the Open.
28 June, 2006 at 7:21 am #228476didnt Murray do well eh………. and if im wrong please correct me here…. but I thought Henman, Murray , Ruedski, Mel South, James Auckland, Jamie Bkaer, Richard Bloomfield, Sarah Burwell and Alan Mackin…. sum of the players whom are representing Great Britain…..
now Wimledon i do like….. Henman JMMOG…. he was sitting 2 sets up… then he eases up…. that guy had the potential to win Wimbledon at one point… not he’s no chance sadly…. Murray, well he’s still got youth on his side… although a ikkle hot n bothered under the collar, think he studied ole John Mac to much lol but I think the Fed man… goin to win again….. and Venus for the woman….
