Cuba being a Caribbean island it has an ethnic mix that comprises the different groups that lived there i.e. the Latin people, the natives and Black people.
Nationalists have often been the cause of wars in history. As for nationalism being the cause of racism and not socialism, just look at Russia where Amnesty International have said that racist attacks have reached epidemic levels in major cities. This is directly related to the rise in hardline nationalist parties following the collapse of communism. The same thing can be seen anywhere that used to be behind the iron curtain. Eastern Germany is now a stronghold of neo-nazis. The collapse of communism has led to the destructive force of fascism taking root in Eastern Europe.
There were no race riots in Brixton in 2001. In fact the rioting in Brixton has all been sparked by police activity and not by tension between races. As for the riots in the North, those were provoked by your friends in the BNP and NF. As usual, the scummy far-right go around carrying out subversive acts across the country deliberately trying to spark social unrest.
“Chauvinistic” relates to Nicolas Chauvin who was a fanatical nationalist.

Yes, and its a marxist country where people love diversity, so theres unlikely to be dislike of it.
Like man utd fans at old trafford not anfield.Nationalists have often been the cause of wars in history.
As has liberal governments invading foreign countries ilegaly.

One track mind. Your not very open minded to realism are you.

Thats because some people both muslims and the indigenous population of Russia dont get on…
The collapse of communism has led to the destructive force of fascism taking root in Eastern Europe.
Communism is fascism to those who dont like it…
There were no race riots in Brixton in 2001.
I never said there was…

Thats what the liberal media tell you. The black community in brixton felt unapreciated, not by the police, but by the local authorities lack of support for them.
See any white person hurling bricks and petrol bombs at police? As for the riots in the North, those were provoked by your friends in the BNP and NF.
WRONG! The NF were turned down by the then home secretary to march in Bradford. Asians in their thousands turned up to rumours that the NF were going to be there.
Walter chamberlain was walking home from a rugby game when he made the mistake of walking through Glodwick in Oldham, he was 76, and was murdered by asians, who issued the warning that Glodwick was an asian area, and whites were not allowed there.
A few weeks later, stoke city were playing oldham, and fans from both got together to confront this anti-white racism, they were turned away by police, by this time they’d gathered a strong hundred or so asian group of young men who demanded the police do more, the police told them to go home, the asian thugs didnt grasp the authority word and riots ensured.Dont believe all our liberal anti-English media tell you.

Actually this isn’t quite true Mr B – I was in Brixton at the time having been sent down there in an emergency from West London, where I was stationed, when the whole thing kicked off.
Police knew that there was trouble planned in Brixton several days before it ”spontaneously” started at around 4.00 pm in Railton Road. Unigate had reported that for several days beforehand, their milk bottles and crates were being stolen and that they were missing hundreds of them. There were also a number of reports of petrol being siphoned from parked cars – more so than was usual for that area.
During the early part of the evening after the riot had started, I actually saw a Bedford Dormobile loaded up with milk crates full of Molotov coctails (milk bottles filled with petrol and a rag stuffed in the top) being reversed towards Police lines and crates of them being handed out to black youths to light and throw at Police.
There was no unusual increase in Police activity in the Brixton area – it always was a high crime area with drug dealing and street robbery running almost unchecked and Police operated there as they always did.
People refer to it as a race riot because the rioters were overwhelmingly black (i.e. of Caribbean / West Indian ethnic origin).
25 September, 2006 at 9:52 am #242254A black youth had been stabbed by others (in some sort of street fight ???) and was lying on the pavement seriously wounded and bleeding. Two constables on foot patrol found him and called for assistance. The first vehicle on the scene was a marked Police van. They needed to get him to hospital rapidly and as the ambulance had not arrived, they tried to load him into the back of the van to take him to the hospital. A crowd had gathered around this scene and some youths started shouting that Police had beaten up this kid and were going to arrest him.
This sparked off anger and before anything could stop it the crowd had snatched the injured youth from Police and dragged him off.
Shortly afterwards dozens of black youths were on the streets screaming about Police brutality and smashing shop windows and looting them. Things escalated really fast and within around an hour a full scale riot was in progress with literally hundreds of black youths running amok, looting and firebombing everything they possibly could.
25 September, 2006 at 12:53 pm #242255The first Brixton riot was sparked by police harassment and the sus law. The second was sparked by the mistaken shooting of a suspect’s mother. The 3rd was sparked by the death of a man in police custody and the minor riot of 2001 followed demonstrations about the shooting of a man carrying a gun-shaped cigarette lighter. So they were all linked to police activity. As always with riots, you get some people who riot out of genuine anger about an issue, then you get the type who like a fight or like throwing stuff at the police, and then there are the opportunists who see a riot and then decide to go shopping.
When I think of race riots, I think of rioting between races like those that happened in liverpool and west london a long time ago. So I wouldn’t class the Brixton riots as race riots especially since the rioters were not exclusively of one race.

I think you’re totally wasting your time trying to explain to MrB exactly what was involved in the race riots….who can forget Hansworth or Bradford either ?? The mentality of the likes of MrB and his race equality fighters for the down trodden masses will never cease to amaze those of us who ATLEAST have some knowledge of what we choose to speak about, and not rely on one tracked bigotry of left wing, one armed lesbians with no brains.
It’s down to citizens, such as himself, that this country has lost its backbone and simply chooses to lie down and let every other race, religion walk all over us. Yes there will one day be race riots again, and it will be down to the common englishman whos fighting to regain a good standard of health care and better pensions and education for our future generations and not because its deemed to look good for the European Union, Human Rights ect ect ect …Wheres MY human rights ?? i have none anymore as im neither coloured, muslim nor a refugee, plus the fact that i get off my ar5e 5 or 6 days a week and go to work so my child can have a better quality of life, instead of standing outside mosques or in London parks spouting MY hatred for this country and anything else i consider to be an enemy of Allah   :twisted:25 September, 2006 at 7:34 pm #242257I can’t speak for the race riots in Brixton in 1981 though they did involve predominantly British West Indians….but I can speak for the riots we have in our town centres up and down the country every Friday and Saturday night…and guess what, they are predominantly white p/issheads that are involved….
and gues what again, if they were black or asian, the likes of Emma, Tommy etc would be ranting and raving!
I guess thats called perspective
