Exactly Becky,,,,,,,,,,it made me so angry, although I did keep my cool……Freind of mine said to me this afternoon, when he said well i’ll do it this time you shoulda let him do it and then said, well i’d still like some kind of explanation from the manager. I didn’t see the point though,,,,,,,it doesn’t get you anywhere.
I used to work for the local council before my son was born, 18 years ago, while I was there they had to start a policy of employing a certain amount of Black and Ethnic Minority. It seems to me though now, that they’re in the majority, every person I seem to see or speak to whenever I need to visit the council offices are either black or asian. On the whole, I don’t have a problem with this, I do however, have a problem with the way they seem to think they can speak to you!
I needed to go to the housing benefit offices around this time last year, because I do get a certain amount of housing benefit, to change my address etc., It was first thing in the morning, so she couldn’t use the excuse that she’d had a bad day with the general public, but the way she spoke to me was unreal!! I said excuse me, but if you continue to speak to me like a dog, then i’ll respond in the same manner, so would you like to take a deep breath and start again, she was nice as pie after that
Something like that happened to me. Years ago i lived in a council flat and at that time soooooooooooo many robberies were happening and i begged the council to move me as i had a new born baby and may i add i lived in that sh1t hole for 2 years with no heating and a baby!!! I knew i would get robbed and begged for another home. They wouldnt move me and low and behold i was robbed! A month later after a month of begging for a move i went to the council, a very mean nasty asian woman dealt with me and she said nothing i can do looked on a computer and asked me to leave. THE very next morning a letter came through with an offer for a new home?!?!?! WTF and my account didnt state that the day before?? I dont think so. Thank god i now own my home and have nothing to do with the council and the toffs (well they think they are better than me) i no longer have to deal with! 8)
30 November, 2006 at 6:19 pm #251757Becky, my mums 94, she lives alone, in a ground floor one bedroom flat on a very small estate, it’s mainly elderly people live there.
Four years ago, her legs were getting worse with arthritis and I got her moved from the first floor, to a different block, on the ground floor. We went to see it and she was almost in tears, whoever had lived there jeeeeez it was disgusting, filthy. We went back to the offices, said that she would take it, but couldn’t move in before it’d been completely cleaned and redecorated. The gave her an allowance of £276.00 to decorate and 3 weeks in which to do it…….The officer also gave her a letter stating that until she actually moved in, she wouldn’t have to start paying rent, but would continue living in her old flat and paying the rent that she did there.
I cleaned it, decorated it and just under 3 weeks later, she moved in. A month after moving in, she received a letter from the council stating that she owed £156.00 odd, in rent. At 90, as she was then, she was worried sick. I spent time on the phone, and at the offices, explaining the agreement that’d been made. Once again, a very big, very surly black woman, said well if she doesn’t pay, we’ll take her to court. I was pretty exasperated by then, said go ahead, but I have the proof, i have the letter from the officer here, stating that the rent would be non-payable until she moved in. So fine, take her to court, it won’t be her with egg on her face at the end of the day, it’ll be yours…………Not only that, but I would then seek legal advice to claim compensation for the harassement of her…………WE left………….A week later, she received a letter from the council, explaining that a mistake had been made, sorry for any inconvenience, and she owed them nothing.
30 November, 2006 at 6:32 pm #251758The reason this law isnt abolished, and the reason people have anti-white racist problems expressed above, is because our rulers want to implement a marxist style communistic state, everyone equal – everyone the same.
So if your white and/or hetrosexual and/or fairly well of, basicly different to the cultural new comers to this countries society, then expect to be treated unfairly.

Sickening! We were given a wekk to pack up our flat and move into our new home like above this was a hell hole we were moving into. Council had cleaned it but council clean and m clean are 2 totally different things. A man had died infront of the fire and lay undiscovered for 5 days so his body leaked fluids and were STILL on my floor boards only not as fresh they did a small amount of disguising it. they gave us a week free in here to decorate and pack up with a small baby and only my hubby to decorate!!
30 November, 2006 at 9:24 pm #251760Sorry, but this thread is total bullsh1t. I expect Emma to talk crap but the staggering thing is when people start agreeing to her idiotic attempts at trolling. I mean let’s look at what she’s saying. Emma, who is 110% against the UK having anything at all to do with the EU, is now saying that white, british people should be part of a charity project that receives funding from the EU. What’s stopping your beloved BNP from funding training courses Emma? Is it because they spend all their money on court appearances and bail money?
As for Cas’ stories, maybe you left something out, but how exactly were you going to do a postgraduate course with only an A level and a gcse? Also, didn’t you think that by attending an ESOL class you would be taking the place of someone who actually needed to do the course? It’s ridiculous that you should even think about doing an ESOL class. It doesn’t sound like you’re the victim of racism it sounds like you’re the victim of your own muddled-mind. It sounds like you were given sound advice but chose to ignore it. How exactly were you going to do a degree and a pgce in just 2 years? I’ve never heard of anything like that before. You need to do a degree first (or an access course to enable you to do your degree) then do your PGCE then you can get a job in teaching.
As for the permit story, clearly it’s your own fault for not reading the form properly. The guy was just doing his job and he actually did you a favour by not insisting that you bring the right identification. Sometimes people are asked to bring proof of address and proof of identity when filling out paperwork. There’s nothing racist about that, it happens all the time.
As for council incompetence regarding housing, everybody has problems with their local council at times so how is that racial discrimination? I’m sure most people here could tell you a story about incompetence by their local council. Do you seriously think black people and asian people don’t have any problems with town halls?
So, I reiterate, this thread is complete and utter nonsense.

Thats your point and that was ours. We are all entitled to our own opinions and thats how we see it as you see it yours. So to say its nonsense is false!

Did your government recently spend one million pound of tax payers money to try and crucify free speech…
mr bigastuff, how would you feel if you were not allowed a position of work due to you being white and not black etc?
How about we take your job off you, and give it to someone who’s black…
30 November, 2006 at 10:51 pm #251763Notice how many women have posted on here
Perhaps they’d all like to start a thread on how positive discrimination has ensured a representative voice for women in the House of Commons and how unfair that is to men.
1 December, 2006 at 12:48 am #2517641 December, 2006 at 1:57 am #251765oh this is becoming stupid lol
a friend of mines nan went to get a house from the council he had a child and behind the counter was a very surly looking white man!! and he said there was nothing he could do!
although iv nothing against white people i dont see how they think they can speak to people like that!!i wont talk from experience in that iv never needed to go to a council office apart from the odd parking ticket (given to me by a WHITE!! traffic warden!!!!)
but i find that its anyone who works there seems to have lost their personality.
