There are a few nasty malware viruses going around and most ant virus tools will not remove them

A few years ago the main problem was viruses that just mess up your pc, but now these nasty little kids are older and trying to make money from their computer skills.

The worst ones right now are the Trojan horse generic series of malware programs. (Nasty little things that are a pain in the ass to remove.)

There are few trial malware removers programs like avg you can just download, but most will only find them, not fix them.

But you can still remove them for free with help.

Unlike pinkyoda who from what I can see is doing remote access for a £1 a min to fix and remove them (see forum 2 message boards).

If you do find you have something that your ant virus remover is not dealing with or not finding, down load the avg malware remover or just post your problems at:

    http://www.thespykiller.co.uk

But from now on, we are all going to need a good malware remover and ant virus programs.

I got an email from the AVG bods yesterday telling me to pay for an upgrade cos the freebie wont remove the viruses goin round at the mo….

Im not using AVG at the mo though, gone back to Norton for now.

I have had 3 spoof emails from “ebay” in the last three days, it must be that time of year

    Hi

I think I know what you are referring to – recently AVG carried a very deceptive box that appeared on loading stating that the current free version was being phased out.

However if you read the small print, it says that you can actually simply download the next version of the free software…

Clever wording to try to get people to upgrade to the paid version, but don’t worry – you can still stick with the free one and upgrade to the new version from their site.

Hi Martin nice to meet you!

I must admit I did see something like that some time back but it was not AVG but
    ‘Avira’ AntVir 7.

Will keep a look out on the next update.
