We lived in an area where the locals (asian and african) were 99.9 not white. My dad had what was considered a good job in the area. It was only just round the corner from where we lived, and he used to have to take a block of wood for protection.

The image of that pretty much explains things. Anyway, it was made clear to us that a white man should not have the job and not live there, and that if we didnt leave, they’d be trouble. If i remember correctly, our cat “lucky” was killed, cant remember how, may have been accident, who knows.

Where in this post does it say that her father actually hated black people? It doesnt.

NO we arent talking about you, we are talking about Emma’s father. Who you have decided is racist because of Emma’s belief in the BNP. Are you saying that emma doesn’t have a mind of her own. I can’t believe I’m actually on her side for once!

He was made to feel like he shouldn’t have had that job because he was white. How many of you all champion the cause when a black person doesn’t get a job or should have kept a job regardless of the colour of their skin. So you are basically saying that it’s her Dad’s fault for daring to have a job where its predominately black, and when they turned on him because they didn’t want a white man having that job, it was his fault for daring to have a job in the first place?

Well thats nice isnt it Owen, luckily we aren’t all as closed minded. :wink:
