…. and the parents of these abusive little thugs???? Do they have a responsibility for the fruits of their fornication???
28 August, 2007 at 1:55 pm #284562Every day, including today, there are more stories in the press about prisoners with complaints of the way they have to live in prison, todays it’s Huntleys turn again. He’s decided to end his hunger strike…….If I had my way he wouldn’t get a chance to even GO!! on hunger strike,,,,,,,he’d be force fed! made to slop out his cell,,,,,,instead, he sits there all day, lording it,,,,playing computer games, watching tv, doing whatever the hell he likes, including bumming his gay lover,,,,,,oh he’s so hard done by isn’t he.
There I was thinking being in prison was to be punished for wrongdoing,,,,,,just goes to show how wrong you can be eh
28 August, 2007 at 1:56 pm #284563But without the police or government clamping down the parents you speak of are the same i said kids having kids
No respect for any 1 or any think how can they bring up a decent human being ????
Its to easy nowaday to get away with murder has its being shown
F00k me PB i ain’t that old but i was still scared sh itless to bring any trouble home to me mom Not scared of the police but what she would have done to me
And why was she like that because back then the social services didn’t turn a blind eye
If you was a bad parent you had the kid took off you simple has
Now they dont give a to s s I agree 100% a lot of the time parents dont care as long as they can watch there soaps without the kids bugging them to play or god forbid talk to them
But why dont the government bring out a punishment for the parents then make them scared to either have the poor lil f00ker who will grow up on the streets
Or think twice about letting them get out of hand
But not all parents are to blame i live in brum grew up on a rough estate
Alot of the kids was scared to think for them self’s followed the crowed
Lucky iv been a gobby f00ker all me life and didnt get pressure to follow
If there was a punishment for the crimes then they would soon be lowered

Short answer tho PB, is they don’t care do they,,,,,,till it’s them. Then all hell breaks loose.
They didn’t get the help they needed from social services etc etc., on and on it goes.
Like Sunny said,,,,,theyre are kids out there having kids,,,,,not just one, but several, and often multi coloured. Theyre not brought up, theyre dragged up, told,,,hurry up, get out me f uckin way,,,f uckin lil b astard etc etc etc., this is the kind of language lot of kids hear daily, and grow up with. Then the parent has the audacity to look shocked when her little offspring turns round and tells her to f uck off!!

…. or they appear on the media with an interview crying and grieving that their feral little monster has been shot in a gang war – how he/she was totally innocent – how they had nothing at all to do with any gang – that they didn’t act as couriers for drug dealers and so on and so forth.
So everybody queues up to sign the condolence book – they all lay their pathetic bunches of flowers mourning for some kid that they didn’t even know…… and the next day the street wars go on and another one gets shot/stabbed/beaten up and more drugs get delivered around the council estate.
Life goes on people and it’s business as usual.

Boot camps seem the best option and work wonders with wayward kids in the US where they are being used, incrementally increasing the time spent their until eventually someone gets sentenced to national service in the actual army would, I reckon not only be a deterrent but would also give these kids the concept of fear, punishment, discipline and routine. Concepts many of their parents didnt have in their childhood and therefore arent capable of instilling into their own little byproducts of drunken fumbles up dark alleys after too much drinking and/or ganja
If the parents arent going to discipline and control their kids then we have an armed forces that specialises in doing that sort of thing, lets use them
And while were at it make the parents go through the exact same thing as THEIR punishment for half assed apathetic parenting

I was not trying to find a similarity i just didnt want people thinking that because a child (irregardless of age) had been murdered, i didnt want people blaming parents.
I however do blame the killers parents and i will go on record saying that! the killers parents have alot to answer for.
again god bless you rhys it doesnt seem that way now but you have gone to a better place.
To think that people are getting pregnant by choice these days! bringing children into a world where kids are being shot! no longer being beaten up having a bike stolen off them for a parent to go round and collect it!
its now guns ffs!!
hi,token, the thing that pisses me off is that everyone knows who murdered this little boy in cold blood, and refuse to come forward.. what is wrong with folk and where have morals gone??? but even when..not if..but when he is locked away what will happen, ? the same thing as happened to jamie bulgers killers, tucked up with a hot drink and a feather duvet, access to computers and maybe a trip or two with the view to rehabilitate.. what a joke. bring back borstal with ex sergeant majors in charge, sack the pc namby pamby brigade, pull out of human rights agreement, its a joke. and let the punishment fit the crime….a small boy walking home from footie, and a not right scumbag with access to a gun ends this childs life, whether intentionally or not, the fact remains that he wanted to kill someone…… poor rhys was in the wrong place, could have been one of our kids, mum, dad sis brother.pound to a pinch of shit , the moron responsible comes from a home where they dont have a clue where their kids are at any time.or dont give a toss. what a shambles this country has become. and it has gone too far with feral scum who have bred the next generation and will bring them up as they have been brought up to take take take and to hell with the consequences.greedy selfish, unfeeling scum…..sorry to sond off but it really gets my goat. whats Great about Britain…? Zero.
3 September, 2007 at 10:38 pm #284570Oh so true Kendra
With articles in the paper today about the government raising the age of criminal responsibility it can only get worse.
As sad as it is that young Rhys died, he won’t be the last.
My heart goes out to his parents,,,each time i see them on the news or in the papers, their grief is clear,,,,,may they both survive this.
