I just feel so depressed over this. I cannot get it out of my head today.

He is just a bit older than my youngest lad, so similar. Just lads who enjoy footy and fun.

The tears were rolling down my face watching the press conference.

    RIP Rhys xxxx

And hope his mum and dad find the strength to carry on.

Well as long as members respect this thread as one of condolence and upset. and dont start convicting everybody then that is fine Fasty.

Im still really sad about this. I’ve turned the news off now because it really is just too close to home in my eyes and so upsetting.

God bless the wee man xx

The corpse of a deaf blind retarded person could solve MOST cases quicker than the police nowadays speedybrumbrums, unless of course its a REALLY haenous crime like speeding, parking illegally, littering or not paying your road tax

More trivial things tho like rape, murder and burglary and the corpse would be at least equally likely to catch someone, perhaps even more so :D

What makes these killings even more tragic for me, if that’s possible, is the fact that it’s kids killing kids. I read that a 14 year old and an 18 year old have been arrested in connection with it.

Is this the latest trend or something? I saw in the paper today that three young men, two of them just 17, posted a video on YouTube while on bail bragging about having killed a 21 year old father and threatening to do the same to another man.

    Senseless doesn’t even come close.

It shouldnt even need to be said Token, but I understand why you have.

He would have had a lift home normally, but his footy coach was late or working. The irony is that he then got a call from the coach that took them in his place, and he then went to get the lads mum.

It sounds just the sort of thing my lads coach would do, he loves his team like they are his own.

Too many things in this case make me think it could have been my kid. It is overwelming. My heart goes out so much to his family friends and footy team, and everybody else that knew the boy. xxxxx

Token, grow up you whinging sniping excuse for a 6 year old girl

He WASNT 3 years old and he WASNT abandoned alone in a foriegn country in an unlocked room was he, so only an inneffectual ignoramous such as yourself would NEED to draw some similarity between the two cases when there obviously isnt one to try and feel some pathetic sense of “victory” where you couldnt attain it on the other thread by needing to pollute this one with your nonsensincal witterings

On topic, as seems to be the british way in cases like this people are being a bit too distracted IMO obviously by the age of the lad and the emotive elements of the occurence

In short a child has been killed and thats that, what should (also in my opinion) be more of a focal point here is not only the people who did it but the lapse left wing polluted society, laws and punishments that has allowed this country to descend into the cess pit it currently is

One more, ten more or a hundred more deaths like this are a mere splash in the ocean of whats already happened and what will continue to happen until people stand up for some changes that punish the criminals rather than the victims, for some changes that blame the criminals for their actions and choices and makes them take some responsibility for it rather than blaming everyone from their school to their parents for a crime they decide to commit as its always a choice irrespective of contributing factors, some changes that are severe enough and are applied often enough to be a deterrent, and some changes that will eradicate the forms of behaviour that lead to this type of act rather than wishy washy limp wristed doo gooder type philosophies that not only are the root cause of the mindsets behind this kind of crime but that then seek to protect the perpetrators of it from any real punishment

Each death like this is the doorway to change and repair of the entire society, each time that doesnt happen is complicit in the next similar occurence

When you keep doing what you have always done you will keep getting what you have always got, but to have something you havent had before you must be prepared to do something you’ve never done before

What those actions should be I honestly couldnt begin to suggest, but I would hope some people somewhere do and try to implement them towards making the government do whats required rather than whats cheapest or what might get them the most votes

But I would also hope enough people can see its time to say enough is enough to mamby pamby touchy feely parenting, legal systems, governments and police forces and the results of them

Hippies have a hell of a lot to answer for

    Ubermik??

i was at the vigil for the lad tonight the reverand said a paryer for maddie too, dont dare prwach to me about anything you have no idea what happens in my life you are too obsessed with your own.

I was not trying to find a similarity i just didnt want people thinking that because a child (irregardless of age) had been murdered, i didnt want people blaming parents.

I however do blame the killers parents and i will go on record saying that! the killers parents have alot to answer for.

again god bless you rhys it doesnt seem that way now but you have gone to a better place.

To think that people are getting pregnant by choice these days! bringing children into a world where kids are being shot! no longer being beaten up having a bike stolen off them for a parent to go round and collect it!

    its now guns ffs!!
