    I did say that I only glanced at it and as such never read much of it or did that not register as you’re in ‘Reading into something what I want to read into it’ mode again?

    Anyway, I wasn’t talking about that thread in the first place. This is a different one (not sure if I have to point that out but better safe than sorry)

    I myself don’t believe in U.F.Os, but I am of a mind to believe in aliens simply through mathimatical statistics, I am pretty sure that through the use of mathematical probability some clever use of the chaos theory and with just a dash of phase space, all with the word quantum liberally thrown in, one could come to the conclusion that because of the vastness of space or more specifically the number of solar systems it would seem unlikely that life could only develop on one planet in the entire cosmos… but that’s just my opinion

    that may be true but may I remind you that though the odds are slim (to say the least) it is still technically possibly even if it is highly unlikely. improbable and impossible are two different words after all

    obviously, when I say aliens I am using it to refer to something dissimilar in nature, not the ‘I’m-going-to-abduct-and-anally-probe-you’ kind. If there are aliens it could be feasible that they are no more technologically advanced than we are and may still just be primordial soup. that’s why I don’t believe in U.F.Os (Is it just me or did that sound slightly conceited)
