No matter how many children die, no matter how much we cry out our anguish and hatred, no matter how much we despair that those who are most vulnerable in our society are least protected- those who make our laws stand by and do NOTHING.
Out in three years? You betcha
I am so fecking sick of the incompetent laws that don’t ensure those who abuse, torture and murder do not get at least a jail sentence which reflects the enormity of what they’ve done.
“Justice”- no my friends, most definitely NOT
2 October, 2009 at 4:21 pm #418125I’d happily kill him and sleep at night

4 October, 2009 at 8:39 pm #418127I cant advocate the bringing back of the death sentence but i do believe that life should mean natural life. As in America, a sentence of 99 years means u just dont getout.
5 October, 2009 at 10:52 am #418128I am entirely satisfied you were a loving mother who cared fully for your child

Some of these judges are so detatched from reality, how can he say this when this child was subjected to weeks!! of abuse at the hands of this bully!!!
I hope he gets what he deserves. I hope she does too, any mother who allows this kind of thing to happen to her child doesn’t deserve children, and if this went on for weeks, as stated in these reports, no ones going to convince me she didn’t know about it. But oh no, what we get is that she was also a victim of this bloke. grrrrrrrrrrrr
I agree with eve, life should mean life, not 6 years and out in 3 for him to do it all over again, cos he will. :twisted:5 October, 2009 at 4:01 pm #418129ive said it before , torture until the brink of death , keep em alive , then torture til the brink of death etc etc etc etc etc do it forever , let them know how it feels to wake up from ur sleep every day and be afraid

I simply lose the will to live- a teenager rapes a 7 year old boy, is given a COMMUNITY ORDER, and then goes and abducts and assaults a 5 year old.
If our judicial system only views child rape as a minor misdemeanour, then it as much our justice system at fault as the lawmakers themselves.
Incomptent, out of touch, divorced from reality judges whose idea of “understanding” how us commoners live is to watch Eastenders.
FFS- what do we do- how do we stop this- I cannot, cannot believe I live in such a messed up country sometimes
5 October, 2009 at 8:36 pm #418133Like I said Slayer, totally detached from reality.
I wonder what they’ll do to him now. Another community order? maybe a nice holiday in the caribbean, i’m sure he must have had the standard dreadful upbringing, doesn’t know right from wrong, etc etc etc., so we all have to feel sorry for him eh, he’s a victim
