Maybe it could be re-named “Angle of the North” ????
I suppose it has one redeeming feature, if I move back up North i’m gonna need some unmissable landmark for “meetings”, though this one isnt surrounded by eating establishments and bars (not strictly true cause theres water one side of the tower)
nowt wrong with the angel.
its a great site when you’ve been away from the north east and you see it on your way home, just like the tyne bridge.
