I’m pleased that a Norwegian court found Anders Breivik sane, and put him our of harm’s way for a very long time (can be extended, let me remind the Norwegian judges).
The guy is not a lone nut. He’s a militant nationalist, using Christianity as a cultural weapon to attack ‘multi-culturalism’ ( ‘wog s’, as Brit militant nationalists still say).
He also has a very nasty smile, and an unattractive way of raising his arm in court.
If a country like Norway, with a reputation for being nice but tactless, can boast of such nasties, you can bet there are others around Europe and USA.
Keep a watch on em, shoot em the moment they pick their nose. Well, ok, you know what I mean. It is unforgiveable that he should ahve been able to wander around enjoying himself killing 67 people on an isolated island.
Aux armes, citoyens

hopefully not des……….just said on the 10pm news he’ll do his 21 years and it is unlikely that he will be ever be released
25 August, 2012 at 5:24 am #507417I don’t think he will ever be freed… he sealed his fate in his closing statement when he apologised to other Christian extremist’s for not killing more young people on that island…. that statement will follow him forever…they will never free him….. thankfully.

Yet before people start on Breivik and nationalist movements perhaps they’d best consider the old maxim about people in glass houses not throwing bricks.
Che Guevara who adorns many a socialists walls and tee shirts murdered at least 180 people and yet is seen as a cultural icon by the left.
Seems it’s only the cause that matters, had Breivik attacked say a gathering of nationalists many of the left would be hailing him as some sort of hero.
Those on the left are hypocrites of the highest order when they criticise Breivik, they have done far worse in their time and laud their own mass murderers as some sort of icon to be emulated. They should perhaps be thankful that nationalist movements who mostly regard Breivik as a nutter are far more civilised…27 August, 2012 at 6:56 am #507420Have to say I havent seen any support at all for this man… maybe I read the wrong papers? Extremist’s of any religion or political doctrine are dangerous in my opinion.
Its certainly true that although seen by most as a dashing young revolutionist Che Guevara was actually an international terrorist and mass murderer. He supported world nuclear war… saying that new societies would rise from the ashes making the world a better place… hmmmm
27 August, 2012 at 9:45 pm #507421The point probably hinges on how you define terrorism.
Did Gandhi and Nelson Mandela not dabble in a bit of it themselves?
But their ’cause’ was just. Depending on who you talk to!If I understood it correctly Norwegian law only allows a maximum of 21 years. After that he is out, unless classed as insane, which they have ruled he is not.
Does the law allow for him to kept inside if he is still a ‘danger to society’?28 August, 2012 at 5:31 am #507422I found this on Google Desmond
“While the maximum penalty for any particular crime in Norway is indeed 21 years, the Criminal Code of the Kingdom of Norway also permits indefinite preventative detention after the completion of a sentence if the person is still deemed a threat to society, essentially allowing for a life sentence”
I doubt if he will ever be freed and rightly so… although I’m not sure I’m comfortable with an unlimited extension. It sort of means they are basically locking people up for life without having to declare them guilty of anything?….if it was one of my loved ones he had killed I would want this idiot to know from day one…. that’s it mate, you are here for the rest of your days……
Does that make me a bad person I wonder? Oh well, so be it :D
28 August, 2012 at 6:44 am #507423there is a bad person, Mtrs T, but it aint you…
