Well well well, Ray is in the final with the second best entrant Leona, and quite frankly, there wasn’t much between her and 3rd place Ben.
I predict atleast a 60 – 40 vote in favour of Ray next week.
Ray will get the votes as girls will stay in to vote for him. Boys wont stay in to vote for Leona, its fact.
I will be voting for her, she needs every vote she can get. Am I the only one who thought his version of Walk On werent that good?

I’m with you on that one….
10 December, 2006 at 11:52 am #248170well i dunt no wat u 2 were watching!!!!!!!!. ray blew em away last week n this……….my way…….holds a special place in my heart anyway……….an when he sang walk on an then burst into tears at the end i had a lump as big as one of sunnys pickled eggs in my throat!!!!. he as proved he.s not just a one trick pony. if theres any justice leona will win tho…………she is pure class. ben never stood a chance last nite.
10 December, 2006 at 12:18 pm #248171I can’t help thinking that Ray’s performance with the tears was exactly that …. a performance, designed to attract votes. OK he got through and yes he can perform as well as sing, but crooning Sinatra style simply doesn’t work for him in view of his obvious youth and inexperience. However, he appeals to the ‘teeny’ voters who think he is yummy.
Leona has an amazing singing voice and can hit a note spot on. My prediction is that she will win. It’s a pity that she is so clearly lacking in self-confidence but this is also somehow endearing. But when she really gets into a song and starts to hit those high notes ….. wow !!! Her cover of ”I Will Always Love You” (last week?) was absolutely fantastic. It is a killer of a song and if you can’t hit the notes first time it really shows.
Poor old Ben is really a rock-n-roll Jerry Lee Lewis style singer (or shouter) that is 30 years too late. Great for belting out songs and stomping on the piano, but he is very one-dimensional. I wasn’t surprised that he got voted out last night. Pity though because he sure tried hard enough. BTW does he have head lice – he is always scratching his long and unkempt hair???

Leona brings a tear to my eye nearly every time she sings. How dignifed she was last night, singing the song she sang at her close cousins funeral. She didnt break down, though she looked close to doing so at the end. Respect.

no way were those tears an act!!!. he sang from the heart.hes took flack throughtout for being a one trick pony. crooning sinatra songs certainly didnt harm robbie williams career!. ok he might not have a *pop* career……….but like brenda from last year.he will be a smash in the west end. leona i predict will storm the states.simon cowell is already promoting her over there. good luck 2 the both of em i say.at the end of the day the 2 most deserving acts are in the final!.

I love U2 and I werent impressed either. You cant really touch their stuff unless youve a bit of credability. I was waiting the whole competition to see him do a decent meatloaf song, that would have been right up his street.
