Because believe it or not, highlighting it on tv helps to get votes. Might not with you, and alot of folk like you and me, but the more you promote it, the more chance people are encouraged.

My auntie (in Glasgow)votes for them, purely because she thinks they are braw (but she thought Michelle McMassive was good too!!)
It works all ways, if they were Welsh or Irish the votes would flood in. And to be fair they all want to beat the English as its a long stood British tradition throughout all competitions!
It dont bother me, I find it quite funny, but not at the expense of real classy acts with talent leaving the show. If it was Leona and the Mc’s and she went that would be an absolute outrage!
I very rarely vote, unless its near the end and Im really impressed with someone and want them to progress, but I wouldnt vote this early
thx the lord Robert is oot now, as he’s shyte …!! lm,fao at sharon n louie these 2 shouldnt be in the bottom 2…. well with the way the bottom 2 have been going ofcourse they should, there wanting Macdonald brothers to stay in this, well for that to happen the good singers will get picked off totally..!!! mind u Robert was shyte and the judges failed to notice at the start of his song he got the words wrong..!!! and the phrasing.. i thought when simon said he had jet lag he was going to mention it..!!

the Macdonald brothers JMMOG///.. come on folks they are shyte..!!! yeah maybe wedding singers, but can u honestly say they have this soo called X FACTOR… i reckon its the scottish gamblers that are keeping them in, as my m8 works in the bookies and the odds for them to win the comp has slashed and there’s been heavy betting on them.. so looks like next week they’ll get thru as well… i reckon if they do… next week we’ll see Ray go….. then it will be Ben, Eton Road… then Leoni… then winners god forbid Mac’D’s..
i think ill go down and put a line on for this outcome… mite make a fortune.. lol
after watching last nights show….i give up!………….its just getting silly now..an fgs at louis sheddin a tear……..i almost threw up………it should ave bin the mcdonuts and ray in bottom too…….much as i dislike robert (aint he just got a face u wud never get tired of slappin?)……..he did outsing em both. leona is a class apart..she is the only one who cud sell records…….i luv eton rd fa their quirkyness.and they do ave good voices. ben i spose cud mek a living doin cover versions of joe co/cker songs…….but at the moment its just cr/ap.
I can’t see Leoni losing. She has everything that you need to be a performer on TV. I personally think(in my opinion), that she will be the only successful one out of the lot to last it out like Lemar has. Even if she lost(which I HIGHLY doubt), she will still get a record deal.
As for them Scottish dudes, yup, they are still in it because Scotland are voting them to stay in, even though they are absolutely rubbish. Even if they did win(which would be funny as hell in a strange way), they wouldn’t amount to nothing, and even though the winners get a contract, they won’t do well, or sell many records.
As I have stated already, the only one who would last it out, is Leoni…And I haven’t seen anyone from England to come out(as she will) with a voice like that. She’s already being spoken about in America, and she would be very very popular in America as well as in England.
now come on us Scots have been very generous with sharing our wealth of singers with you all…. come we gave you The Proclaimers…. Deacon Blue… Simple Minds… Hipsway.
We even gave you Michelle McMannus…. and now we give you the Mc Shytley Brothers lol its that bad when im watchin i cringe when the even near mention of the Mc Doughnuts..!! lol im like Simon Cowell was right with the most boring song out Wet Wet Wet…. i mean they even asked for it to be taken from the charts..!!! its one of the worst slit ur wrists songs out..!!! im feel it in ma fingerssssss…. grrrrrrbut any betting folks out…. worth a wee tenner on the Mc Doughnut brothers to win..!!!
What Sharon and Louis dont realise is that by this pettiness against ray they are keeping him in the competition! macdonald brothers??? i love a laugh as much as anyone but the only 2 songs that they COULD sing would be the everly brothers “dream” and the deep blue something “breakfast at tifannys” theyve got the voices for them songs thats all though!
leonA will be big no matter what, its as simple as that!
eton road? as good as people say they are why where they in the bottom 2? because the public say so! its all good and well the judges saying it isnt fair because they wanted ray out, if the public vote its as simple as that!
ben is boring me now, hes got a good voice but its just becoming samey samey for me.
Token, Ben has a rock style and hasnt been slated for his style or flare… wonder why Ray was gettin a raw deal with the swing…!!
I really don’t wish to hear the Mac Dougnuts murder Breakfast in Tiffanys..!!! not an easy song to master..!!! they have murdered everything they have been given..
here meant to say… on sat oor xmas town lights were fired up, and we were entertained by Journey South…. my daughter thinks there both tasty lads..!!! im worryin about her..!!! she’s only 8..!!! I have to agree though.. i don’t remember them being that pleasant on the ole eyes… but they were… and actually no bad at the singin, I just don’t get why the need to sell cover songs..!!

Well well well, Ray is in the final with the second best entrant Leona, and quite frankly, there wasn’t much between her and 3rd place Ben.
I predict atleast a 60 – 40 vote in favour of Ray next week.
