Dying for your cause.. that would be like the suffragettes dying for their’s… votes for women.
Or Ghandi, or…. well countless other people died for their beliefs.
Dying for your beliefs is not a laughing matter.
Deliberately choosing to die in this way was a calculation. Perhaps she thought it would be so shocking that the murder of innocents would stop.
In my opinion…. they are all wrong. No religion is worth dying for. Because all religions are made by men to further their own desires, whether those desires be power, property, wealth, status. God is of secondary importance to religion.
I suspect God will take to task all those who kill in her name in due course.
16 March, 2010 at 8:00 pm #435562This beautiful woman died to stop the destruction of the innocent homes of PEOPLE…religion in this case has NO significance…. The silence of the un is deafening………perhaps this is because they are muslims….
Nay-Nar…..ooooh….is that the fuzz

=D>
There is more hypocrisy in religion than anywhere, and more sins commited in the name of God. Faith is not about religion, nor is God, God is not religion, religion is an invention by man.

Well it didn`t work did it? Perhaps she may have had more impact if she chose to live, and to fight another way, she acheived nothing Gaz, she is just another example of a waste of life, a life that if we ALL got our act together wouldn`t have happened. At the end of the day, it seems to me, we all want the same thing, freedom of beleif, and the right to beleive what we choose.
16 March, 2010 at 8:27 pm #435565I think you will find she had no intention of giving up her life, she was murdered…. its as simple as that…she was there as a peaceful protester, something some of you lot harp on about to do with freedoms…..yet the parents of this woman fight for justice…. of course, we all know what the results will behold dont we….or do we
16 March, 2010 at 9:33 pm #435566It was all about religion…. the whole thing, from start to finish… is about religion.

A swift couple of paces to the side and she’d still be here today.
On second thoughts – and as it was a bulldozer – a slow couple of paces …..etc.
