The Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, which we visited in Jerusalem, has documented the inequity surrounding access to water. It has also documented incidents where Israeli soldiers have ordered Palestinians away from wells or springs and where the soldiers have opened the taps of water tankers and ordered the Palestinian drivers to drive away with the water spurting out. Of course, by the time the drivers can safely stop and turn off the tap, much of the water is lost

There is no argument..these people are subject to blatant military abuse.under these circumstances the acts of a minority of these people is justified, you castigate a whole nation for the acts of a minority……. you have no answer…there can be no answer and you know it

A thought occurs to me. Having gotten herself squished by a bulldozer (and thus created an ‘anniversary’ )…. has she managed to achieve anything tangible for her ’cause’???
12 March, 2010 at 8:08 pm #435547` Tangible `……i would say, she has given the much needed boost to the ground workers and suffering people for them to feel that not all westeners are spineless… set that aside, i think she has given up her life for something she felt worthy of…and that, requires nothing `tangible` to justify it… the cause is a rightful cause, she served it well and she will be remembered and honoured for it….what an achievement…something, the vast majority will never achieve, that in itself is very honourable
12 March, 2010 at 8:15 pm #435548Ah right – I see it all now.
So she was flattened by a bulldozer and the net result is that a lot of ‘activists’ get to have a bit of a moral “boost” and no doubt feel good about themselves in consequence.
Worth dying for, probably not. Worth getting slowly squished by a bulldozer if front of all those cameras? Well it might make a gory photo on ‘Rotten.com’ but that’s about it.
What was her name again? Ive forgotten it already.
