It may appear selfless but does he have an expectation of some kind of salvation? or a posthumous award for being a hero? This is taking it to the extreme though
(On reflection I think I’d say that’s a reflex action rather than an atruistic act.)
16 December, 2011 at 8:05 pm #485143yeh but i bet you only gave him half a fag cos you cant smoke in the tube
I dont think the soldier would of had time to think about salvation or awards. which makes me think would you throw yourself on a grenade jen to protect the poor folks in jc

yeh, but I could have stood outside and finished it, but I knew he was waiting! :D
17 December, 2011 at 4:36 pm #485147But you couldnt wait otherwise you would of missed the 8.53am southbound and had to wait for the 9.12am which involved changing trains and heading east along the central line which meant you would of missed your connection to the waterloo and city line.

we were all put on this earth to help others?
No. we were not “put” here full stop, we were created by the big bang, nout more than science so its only your sub-conscance telling you to be good and guilting you into being a “decent” human.
If you take a look at other religions do you believe they think your should help others?
For instance the Jedi religion – yep Jedi, spawned from a film – could they possibly believe they are from a God? or the Mormans – bloody hell these lot do make me laugh – a religion spawned from the failure of an other religion LMAO.Life is what you make of it, it is nice to be nice, but it doesnt get you into a paradise when you die.
