Ok now that I have your attention…
I figured there are alot of single people out there and they all must be wondering where the best place to meet someone is… haha
So on that note I thought it might be fun to share some stories about where you met your partner or previous partners… anything unusual would be good too… so spill the beans… and if you have no story to share… don’t worry there is someone out there for everyone (gaz) lol
I’ll start…
I met my ex hub in Magaluf when I was 18 but he wasn’t my hol romance… we got together several months later…
no one got a partner then :shock: :lol:

I met my hubby in a pub ( there,s a strange place for u ). We had seen each other a few times , and he was very very shy, i liked that . So to me it was obvious that if we were going to hook up , it would have to be me that made the first move. Thinking back no way would i have done it now ( due to health and safety reasons ) Anyway, i was waiting for him to walk past me and i stuck my foot out i didnt mean for him to go flying across the whole place however he did, i hadnt noticed the drinks he had in has hand #-o . I went over to apolagise, as he lay there coverd in beer , and looking rather handsome . The first thing he said to me was ” like a drink ” . and that was how i met him .. Few months later i told him it was no accident, he told me he knew it wasnt , as he had seen my foot go forward, :)
At work…my role had become too big for one person so it was split into two, and when the new bod started it was logical that since he was taking on half my old role I would be assigned as his buddy. We hit it off immediately although it took us another 3 months to take it beyond friendship.
I guess you could say I exceeded the requirements of a buddy :lol:

Mr V and I worked together for almost a year before he was dared to ask me out for a bet…. he was only 18 bless him, we were the only 2 singletons there at the time… the rest is history :) been together 26 years married for 23. He proposed on Christmas day with a ring he’d picked out himself and a rose his mum had bought for him to give me… he even asked my dads permission….. lol how times have changed…. my daughter still complains about not being a bridesmaid at our wedding…. she was a mere twinkle in his eye at the time
