Why doesn’t his Government just blow an 80 metre crater near the village, if not on it as these countries in conflict aren’t adverse to this (huh hum), with one of the bombs it has purchased with charity money and fill it with water? Problem solved.

No mims I actually see it all as irony, nothing will ever change, no matter how much it is debated, argued, money thrown at it… it won’t chnage.
It would change if the so called civilised democracies did something directly and wrote off foreign debt we loan them money knowing full well they can never pay it off they cant even make the interest payments but thats ok cause then listen they owe us money so how about we have some cheap coffee or whatever we might need that they can grow
