I agree with you there PATS. These third world countries can hardly feed themselves, yet they keep having zillions of kids. Why can,t these charities dish out condoms? We can chuck money at them until the cows come home but as long as they keep having kids, nothing will change. Live Aid didn,t make much difference did it?

Who inferred publically that you don’t care about starvation? You paraphrase and make things up as you go along Pete. I have never at any stage said you don’t care about starvation!

Thats exactly what i meant mims only you chose to say I have a back yard, not all Americans think NIMBY same as not all here do but i bet vast majority do. Theres enough food production to feed the whole world so feed em dont build butter and beef mountains

the world has enough food we can feed them and give them water then they wouldnt need as many kids Or as they live somewhere it’s difficult to feed themselves (it’s not their numbers it’s due to an accident of climate) let em move here

But pete they have had millions of pounds chucked at them over the years and they still die. I don,t know what the hell the answer is, but having more children that they can,t feed doesn,t help them really does it? The site of those pitiful children is heartbreaking. Makes you realise how lucky we are in the UK.

they dont show the adults dying though Batty we wouldnt send as much money. It’s climate and the more kids they have the more will survive and the longer they’ll live. We cant control the weather but if we can at least give them clean water and help when the climate is such that the crop fails is that too much to ask
