So they all just pick their huts up and move to where the water is then. So all the people from villages from miles and miles around, all must move to where the water is. And when they get there they find a place to put their huts, and then they all live happily ever after in what can now be termed a refugee camp or a ghetto!
Yep, excellent idea.. wonder why nobody ever thought of that one?
 all civilisations need water, food and shelter as a starting point.
It’s not rocket science. They obviously used to have water and food and shelter… in their own villages. The water supply may have dried out or become contaminated, but, the village is still their home, and so they don’t want to leave it. At some point the water source will return nearer to their villages and their lives will go on as normal.
The next time we have a drought in this country, and we have to walk to a stand pipe to get our allowances of water, and say the stand pipe just happens to be 3 miles away – why don’t we all move to where the stand pipe is? And if people are already living there… why don’t we all just camp in their front gardens!
 Let’s them eat standpipes.
10 August, 2008 at 10:50 am #360949like those women who live in the refugee camps in Darfur, and who have to walk miles to find firewood in order to cook for their families.
One in four are never seen again.
Yes, why don’t they move closer to the firewood, after all it’s only a little bit of rape and murder.

10 August, 2008 at 12:32 pm #360955Can’t they just drive or take the bus?
Why do they have to walk?
10 August, 2008 at 12:40 pm #360956They could hire a minibus between em. There’s bound to be some good deals online.
The best thing would be to hitch a lift. It wouldn’t cost anything and the money they saved could be spent on some orange squash and ice cubes.
That’s assuning they’ve got a fridge which of course they must have. I mean, who hasn’t got a fridge??10 August, 2008 at 1:11 pm #360957@toybulldog wrote:
