Daniel Craig once said that he understood his James Bond character as a misogynist who played women. He loved them a little – when they are killed, you always see his brow knotting for a moment before he continues on to his next conquest.
Craig claimed that many women are attracted to this like butterflies to a flame.
It’s the sense of danger; the fact that your character and reactions are going to determine how long it lasts; and the lingering hope that maybe you’ll be the one to snare the man.
As I’m not a Bond character, don’t have the skills of a Q, or the mentality of M, I can’t play in this film.
Now what is the film in which I can play a part?
Don’t anybody answer that, please, tempted though you may be.
