I always say Im quitting drinking. Usually on a Sunday Morning after a bucketload the night before.
By the next weekend the wisdom has always gone though. Why stop drinking anyway? Best three things in life are are sex, drink/drugs and food.
Cos I drink everyday and its taking its toll. I can’t moderate it anymore, can’t just have one, if I have one I have to have another one, and another one, and another one, and I end up spending all my money, I’m supposed to be saving up!
So gonna have my fun over this weekend then quit :) it’ll save me atleast £300 per week, which is what I averagely spend on beer.
Oh and Pats, County Borough is my favourite pub now, not the Effingham! Woohoo I sing Sex Pistols at the County every Tuesday on the Karaoke! Party animal me..
15 February, 2008 at 1:43 pm #312482£300 a week on drink lol, you would be dead!
15 February, 2008 at 1:46 pm #312483Not really. Work it out.
At the County Borough it’s £2.30 a pint of Stoowans.
At the Disraeli’s it’s £3 a bottle of Newcy
Belvedere £3 a bottle of Newcy
The Basement £4 a bottle of Newcy
Robin Hood £2.65 for a pint of ale.
Cross Keys £2.80 a bottle of Newcy
They’re all the pubs I drink in and what I drink in them. It soon adds up!
Not to mention bus fares!
15 February, 2008 at 1:47 pm #312484Oh, Black Bull £2.30 a pint of Stoowans.
15 February, 2008 at 1:48 pm #312485It’d be smarter to go to the ‘spoons pubs, where it’s only £1.49 a pint of proper bitter.. but ‘spoons doesn’t have jukebox with punk music on it!
15 February, 2008 at 1:53 pm #312486So you are saying you drink approx 90+ bottles a week! forgive me for thinking you are telling a porky here, i find that somehow hard to believe, let alone the financial cost.
15 February, 2008 at 2:32 pm #312487You’re forgiven! (and it’s easily done!)
Just because you’re a lightweight doesn’t mean we all are
I drink men’s beer see, not lager (for girls!)
As for financial cost, why do you think I’m quitting? Debt piling up.
If it carries on piling up I might not even be considered upper middle classed anymore!
Long live the aristocracy! *he says whilst taking a swig from his bottle of Theakston’s Old Peculiar* (real ale, see, you won’t have heard of it.)
Training see, get a few bottels down me now and I’m all set for toneet’s session!
Have you ever used amphetamines? A bit of base and you can knock back 20-30 pints in one night EASILY. If you’re a daily drinker that is.
Don’t be such a lightweight! Drink a man’s beer! Give it a try!
No don’t, I’m quitting. Eveeryone else should too, I shouldn’t be the only one to suffer
