Its currently like a managerial merry-go-round, foreigners saying maybe i’ll do it, maybe the FA will invite me to an expensive wine n dine talk sesh.
Alan is English, he’s watched the managerial England job very closely, he wont need persuading or £6 million football fans dosh via the turnstyles, he’ll do it for his country.
Yurgen klansman did well at germany, why not Shearer?
Emma, talk about something you know about, this is football.

Thats a tad unfair, he was No.2 under sven who qualified 100%, maclaren also took middlesboro to the uefa cup final via a carling cup win.
Im not saying maclaren is king, it was disgracefull we didn’t beat macedonia at home, then andora away, but with SIX first team players out V croasia, we’d surely not lost, thats not his fault.
Couple all that with the media intrusion, not easy.
I’d love Harry Redknapp, but the FA are a bunch of retardo’s of the highest order, so im begging the public to meet them retardo’s half way.
Alan Shearer.

9 December, 2007 at 7:03 am #294991You can’t have someone who has never even managed walk straight into the England job, that would just make it more stupid than ever having Mc Claren the Clown.
I would however have Shearer in the England staff and having a role of some description.I don’t think Jose will take the England job, simply cos he wants to manage at club level, and his “come and get me” plea in the media is to only make Real Madrid, AC Milan sh!t themselves and think we better hurry up and get him, that’s what he really wants.
I thought when Hoddle, Sven, Mc Clown, was managers they was sh!t managers, but i think you have to start questioning the players on the field, there is some reason these players who play outstanding for there clubs can’t play together at international level.
Is it they can’t be @rsed cos they money they get paid is nothing to them, maybe.
Seems no pride in pulling on the 3 lions shirt anymore, and thats what needs to change for a start.
Gone are the days when players would do anything to put the England shirt on, J Terry for example, can’t play for us against croatia cos he is injured, but few days later plays for the chavs. It’s getting so bad we are going to have Almunia in the national team in just over a year,
” 07 December 2007
Manuel Almunia has confirmed his intention to press ahead and claim international recognition for England.
The Spaniard is a year away from securing British citizenship and his stock has risen this year on account of him dislodging Jens Lehmann as Arsenal’s number one keeper. He has said in the past that he would be happy to represent England, but it was thought that his comments were made with tongue firmly in check.
However, with his chances of representing Spain slim at best and England’s keeping troubles well documented, he has again stated a desire to play for The Three Lions.
”I would never close the door on people who have shown me so much affection,” Almunia is quoted as saying in The Daily Mail.
”If I can lend England a hand once the time comes for me to be eligible – and I want to thank the country for the support it has shown me – I don’t see why I shouldn’t play for them.
”I don’t rule it out.”
So we don’t need to worry about Carson, Robinson, James, Kirkland, Green, cos we will have a spanish goal keeper who is desperate and we will take him, what a laughing stock we will be.

Shearer would be a gambit for England right now. An inexperienced manager should never be allowed near an international manager’s job, unless that job is San Marino or Andorra.
