Absolutely. That’s why I added the disclaimer ‘in general’ and ‘of course there are exceptions’
I used to have to watch Eastenders years ago. Being born in the East end of London I can freely admit that I never aspired to be a market trader, night club boss or gangsta. By all accounts the program is even more detached from reality these days. But perhaps that is the point….
I tend to watch alot of documentaries that most would find as boring and tedious as hell 8)Prefer sport. Am watching the cricket right now and can’t wait for the footie to start again.
I like watching detective programmes like Lewis and Midsomer.
Haven’t watched Eastenders in years. Might watch it again when they bring Den back from the dead again.
Can watch Emmerdale but not fussed if I don’t.
I have never watched Loose Women or Jeremy Kyle.
Think that puts a hole in Des’s sweeping generalisation. :P
Have to agree panda….I dislike soaps although as I said I take a peep now and then… Im not too keen on footie but I love rugby… I like period drama or anything thats a good yarn and I like restoration programmes… and the history of buildings… not sure I fit the mould either.. sorry desi :D

Think this must be the Eastenders xmas story line.. its annoying me already.. she gets a call and in the next shot, the 5 suspects are seen closing their phones. Identical to the ” michelles baby” incident of near 30 years ago , or who killed, then resurrected Dirty Den.
