23 April, 2007 at 9:57 am #268297lil feck has actually got a point here. Is it not discriminatory not to allow Pakistanis to type the name of their fatherland in the chatrooms :?: Do you ban them from doing so as a method of discouraging them from joining this very “British” site.. :?:
And on these boards…. if you try and enter the name “pa*ki” it automatically changes it to the word “asian”. Now Im sure that if the subject matter is Pakistan then the rest of asia wouldnt really want to be tarred with the same brush and dragged into a topic that was never directed at them in them in the first place.
Those Indians have already got their finger pressed firmly against the nuclear button and it could only take one automatically edited post on the JC message boards and war could break out between the two countries.
Seems to me that JC is actually encouraging racism rather than discouraging it…. :-k
23 April, 2007 at 5:58 pm #268298I have exactly the same views on the government fast… who else would give the immigrants so much and take away from the english…being of irish extraction myself…(though I class myself as english much to the dismay of my irish family…who educated me, where do i work ect ect :?: :!:  ) I had to laugh when I was serving a customer yesterday who I couldnt understand…on asking him to speak clearer.. he replied ‘its my dublin accent you can’t understand’… (Well my father is a dubliner and talks sh ite too….) Yet I understand himi easily… on pointing out it was nothing to do with his accent, it was because he mumbled…He called my a thick english coont ( to use sunnys expression) :!: :!: I was rather proud of this as my name clearly displays my gaelic origin….All I can say is… Jesus how thick are the paddys !!!!!! and aren’t I glad Im not one…(well atleast in his eyes !!!)

You’re definitely more English than me Sweets as me dads side traces back to Wales only 4 generations ago! But I’m English to the core which is really my point
As for going back to France to ask for your lands back! good luck, but they’ll expect an apology for Agincourt, Crecy n Dunkirk

27 April, 2007 at 9:32 am #268304Why would anybody born outside of England want to be deemed as “English”? Is there no such thing as national pride anymore?
30 April, 2007 at 3:00 pm #268305I made this point 4 years ago in ‘The Pub’, forum 1. I got banned for it. Then again, back then, I got banned every bloomin` 30 minutes
