I really like a guy i sometimes see at work, my “friend” told him that i fancy him….this was a month ago…since then the now ex friend has sent anon texts to him saying awful things…like he was told i fancied him to make me look desperate, that if he gets lots of texts telling him how i feel he will get fed up and ignore me etc, that it serves me right for telling her i wanted him…you get the drift…its like it really backfired !1
Well this week he got more texts….he text me then forwarded them all to me….i was really shocked as they clearly stated how i felt about him and he was forwarding them to me !!!
Upshot is he asked me out for a drink, we went, wednesday…..i drove him home and he got a bit flustered chatting when he was going to get out the car….normally really confident and professional lol…he kissed me on the cheek/side of my mouth then the next thing i saw was him exiting the car lol…..!!!! he was gone !!!!
I have text him since to say thanks for listening to me and being supportive etc….and that i have learnt my lesson re telling friends too much…..we chatted re the texts but neither of us mentioned the content re me fancing him by the way !!
I have had no reply to the text i sent……yet
What do i do….wait ???
Do i have hope ???
He is in no doubt after the texts how i feel…..yet i obviously havent told him cos he’s been told ! So why kiss me when he knows i want him…its so cruel on me if he isnt going to follow up surely ????
Pleasee give me some perspective on this !!

personally i would either phone or ask him face to face ,
least then you can tell for sure how he feels,just phone for a chat and casually drop it in?
whatever you decide, “good luck” cos there aint no manuals that come fer blokes, :lol: and they come from mars lol :lol:worked together a couple of months…..dont always see each other though. work at different times, sometimes just cross over working times. do get to see him for whole day monday so i will see how the land lies then. I am not always working in the same dept as he is tho so i can avoid him with ease if i need to or just as easily work at another work site.
I just dont get why he took me out…!!!!!!!!!! there was no need to unless he wanted to see me arghhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe he took you out to see if he really liked you , then chickened out of asking you out? so gave you a little kiss on cheek? :D
or after taking you out thought you weren’t his type ? and gave you a kiss outta politeness for taking him home? i dunno. :roll:

he was going to get a taxi, i offered him alift, he accepted
he did manage to touch my hand twice…..whilst talking illustrating a point about something
he told me about his work responsibilites ( like i didnt know lol )
he told me about his family etc
told me he had no wife, no kids
i didnt ask questions to get the above answers either !
we had to leave the pub when they shut and threw us out !!!he is very much the old fashioned polite, well spoken, educated guy tho……highly respected
to have had more of a kiss than that would have really surprised me…it would have been out of character with his persona !!!!!!!!!!!He’s shy, arrange a lovely day out and make the first move. :wink:

sounds like you had a great night out then fiona, probably took a lot of bottle to give you the kiss but he did , :D maybe he is just shy :D
he could even be frightened that you don’t really like him and thinks all that texting was just a wind up?
he may even be thinking of you right now, and wondering if you like him , 8)
