hi,,i would like to be a chat guide,but i dont know how to go about it,so can anybody tell me the characteristics required,do i need to be funny,charming,charismatic,jobsworth ,whatt! i would welcome your replies

And not that i know for sure but guessing you need to be stable ALL the time to be a guide, then again seeing people getting banned for no reason maybe you do stand a chance of becoming one – is there not a link to Martin about applying?

I would imagine that reasonably sane would be a qualification.
