Hope you all have had a fantastic weekend. i certainly have. Took a 36 mile round cycle ride to the coast yesterday. Beautiful weather, cool breeze, great cycling conditions. Missed the super -kites flying as i was informed but i did leave it rather late in the day. Any way, have a great start to the week and spread the lurve where ever you can.

3 July, 2017 at 8:57 pm #10586963 July, 2017 at 11:11 pm #1058706Ha Ha somer knows it well…it is Weston -Super-Mare. I went to Chesil beach with my parents a lot when i was young Orson, From what i remember it’s a pebbled beach and a very dangerous tide. In the next 2 weeks i should be cycling to Weymouth and back like i do once a year. I’ll see if i can fit in Chesil beach as it’s already a 140 mile bike ride. Good thing this time of year that it’s still light late. July and August are my main cycling , long distance months so ill post any where i go. This week i should be off to Bristol to have a look around.
3 July, 2017 at 11:14 pm #1058707Ha HA host! no chance of riding my bike on the sand. A fat bike would probably be good on it or a quad bike. There is another beach i visit where they use those beach surfers a lot…basically its a board with wheels and driven by a sail…they can go really fast.
3 July, 2017 at 11:29 pm #1058711make sure you lock your bike if you are going to Bristol q,milky lives there
yeh chesil beach its not really a beach is it,its like a part time beach, for half a day
but when the tide is out you can ride to isle of Portland.

3 July, 2017 at 11:38 pm #1058715Such a long time ago Orson i can’t remember…seems like it’s given me a challenge to fit it in and find out. Looks like it could be an over -nighter. I love coming back from Weymouth along the Jurassic coast……along the hills over looking the ocean….last time i did it…the sun was just setting and it was awesome!
LOL@Bristol…yeah…i never leave my bike out of my sight and if i go in a shop i have 2 locks for it. Bike theft is rife every where.
